Just some select titles. There were no announcements about this(at least not that I know of), so I wouldn't have known if it weren't for this thread. I was too busy refreshing the Persona 2 page, but anyway, thanks rainking!

eh worth a try (never hurts to ask). I pre-ordered it at a 7.5% discount anyways. And actually, Amazon is being very very very very aggressive with the rest of their inventory lately. Financial crisis, fears of low consumer sales, more power to the consumers (a.k.a. me).

I always thought that was why Amazon started lowering prices for certain games; Persona 4 is for $36.99, with the tax it'd be about $40.09 total, assuming you use the free shipping since it's over $25. If you got it at any other store, it'd be $39.99+tax.

IMO, they lower prices in part because Amazon is really slow at shipping pre-orders. The other part is just to compete with brick-and-mortar stores.

Despite being in Canada I ordered some stuff through Goomba on CAG :D Operation Darkness and Spectral Force 3 are way to cheap to pass up. They haven't dropped from $60 up here.

no i didn't receive the soundtrack. it was gamestop pre order only exclusive. knowing gamestop they don't carry atlus games anyway so i brought it at another store.

i think what i will do from now on is wait it out for the games to get cheaper. i don't think many atlus games are hard to find now especially with all the reprints coming out.

Some GameStops seem to carry virtually no Atlus titles, while others have them on the shelves all over the place. Both Izunas, Rondo of Swords, Baroque, and even Etrian Odyssey are usually at one of my local stores.

Yeah, Atlus titles don't seem to be "buy day 1 before it goes OOP" games anymore. I made myself wait for a price drop on Dokapon Kingdom and Master of the Monster Lair, of course I guess I didn't wait that long. Unless it's something I really want or it has an awesome preorder bonus it's a little harder to justify paying full price on release date given all the Amazon DotDs and that Dokapon Kingdom dropped to half price in about a month.

I'd be careful with that philosophy! It leads to folks asking for re-issues that don't come around for years and complaints that one is getting gouged on E-bay! Seriously, Atlus is not a huge run producer, the forum vets know this.

Cheapest I've found it used at any stores near me is 37 at hastings and I refuse to pay that much for a used copy. I've been checking around for it sense it's release at EB, game stop, and game crazy with no luck at all.
