If anyone has got this game already, the language the demons speak is latin. So cool that they would add something like that!

Didn't Librum Vespera hint anything to you? :P
Anyway, Latin is awesome, and I wholeheartedly appreciate it in the game! :D

Hey, which path did you choose? I chose Misery 'cause that's my kind of thing :P Not just that, but the imagery when choosing made me think of The Divine Comedy. Actually, it was a toss-up between Temptation and Misery, 'cause I love sky backdrops...but yeah, Misery FTW! :P

I took the third one to the left, can't remember because I have been writing a philosophy paper all day instead of playing =/

That'd be Humility ^
When choosing, I figured it'd be like choosing a difficulty setting: Humility = Easy, Temptation = Normal, Misery = Hard. It seems like it so far, 'cause these enemies need a 75 to Overkill them--was that the same for you?

The guys in Humility needed a 50 to OK. Haven't gotten further due to that paper.

I thought that was difficulty level. Now that I now I am going to restart in Misery. Thanks.

I like the Latin in the first area. I just wish I understood Latin :(.

Ok so no, its not difficulty. I'm also fighting things with an OKO of 75 in the first area of humility.

Funny you mention that 'cause I also noticed monsters that needed 50 just yesterday.

From what I've seen, what path you choose determine which refugees you save. It also seems to have some effect on the story since in Olifen's story, which path you take in the third stratum determines which ending you get.

Am I crazy, or do the monsters say their names when you encounter them? I thought it was just random opera, but then I did it along with them (don't judge me!!!) and looking at their name, it all made sense! =O

I still think you're incredibly weird, but you're definitely interesting. I have to give you that much.

I noticed that the bears talk backwards...

There's kind of a mixture of Latin, Italian, (...something else, I forget), and gibberish. But even when you try to put all the meanings together, they don't always make sense. A couple of friends and I were trying to make sense of them for awhile, but gave up haha.
dragonlife29: Yep, that's their names being announced. The Japanese version has a famous wrestler (I think?) announcing each majin.
If you're not sure which path to take, listen carefully to Shivan or other people you happen to come across.

I did not realize that.. interesting indeed. :grouphug: it reminds me of edward james's character in blade runner if anyone has seen it. he speaks a mixture of english, dutch, spanish, and some others.
