I have heard that the crappy looking smoothing filter is optional and that it will play in either a widescreen or standard screen ratio depending on your console settings.

I am definitely going to pick this up now.

I'm gonna be bummed if the unlockable games turn out to be Sonic 3 and Knuckles or something like that.....

Oh, I'm sorry. I think I understand why. You would be expecting a different game than the one they already announced for the collection.

Neither would you want to have to unlock a game you paid for, eh.

Didnt most of these games already see a release on the PS2 with the Genesis collection? I realize it's an old release but figured it'd be a bit more common then the originals. As such, it'd be nice if they'd release more of the stuff they havent re-released to death and put out some of the stuff that hasnt been seen in ages. Maybe some game gear games, 32x stuff, or lord save us all, some sega CD stuff? That would truely impress me.

This has so much more than the original Genesis collection, including the Streets of Rage Trilogy, Beyond Oasis, Shining In The Darkness, Shining Force I & II, Super Thunder Blade, etc.

This is a criminal deal.

I heard the first Phantasy Star was to be one of the unlockable games.

When does this come out?
