This... is NIS work, isn't it? Any reason why they didn't bring this over? I've browsed through a few videos and articles and got nothing but good news (unless this is much, much worst than what I thought it to be).

Dunno if you know this, Einherjar, but a person on Livejournal [link: http://nighteye159.livejournal.com ] is currently trying to fan translate Seinarukana -The Spirit of Eternity Sword 2 for Windows. I did a quick search, and learned that it was an adult RPG created by Xuse in 2007. That information comes from Eroge Shop.
The PS2 version of Eien no Aselia: Spirit of Eternity Sword [or Aseria, or possibly Etheria] was apparently adapted by Nippon Ichi in 2005 from the original PC version from 2003. That info comes from GameFAQs.

The PS2 version is clean, but NIS actually publishes a lot of games by other parties to PS2, usually visual novels (or something very close to a visual novel, like Eternal Aselia or Tristia of the Blue Sea, etc.). If NISA never bothered publishing them in NA, there probably isn't much a benefit to them in doing so - which is why it's unlikely Atlus would be interested in bringing them over, too.

This thread has been silent for about five months, but there's news for those who are interested. Not only is the person on Livejournal who's translating Spirit of Eternity Sword 2 still posting updates, but Dakkodango Translations is now working on a translation of Eien no Aselia - Kono Daichi no Hate de. This particular version is for Windows, and "...contains no adult content, and is suitable for ages 12 and above."
