In total seriousness, I spent two summers at two different jobs assisting mentally challenged adults in various activities. It's less about the eye patch, and it's more about the way her tongue is sticking out. Look at her awkward arms. Her posture, her vacant eyes. It doesn't look coy/cute/sexy in any way to me. It looks like she's mentally disabled. I even asked my mom, whose sister was mentally challenged, and she agreed.

Well, it does look interesting. Can you tell us what it's about? I really can't give an opinion on something that I have no clue about. The graphics look good, and so does the gameplay. The protagonist seems likeable. It looks like my kind of game. That's all I can say at this point.

No idea. We won't know unless there's an official word, or if someone else ends up publishing an MMV title.

I don't think either of these companies is like Namco, though. While XSeed has first grabs, I'd imagine someone else would be able to publish a title if they don't.

Well, I have no problem with the art style itself. I like it actually, with all the intricate shading and all. The other character designs are fine too (I'm really digging the design for Kil, the guy dressed in black holding a... a shovel), and as you say, that fairy's wings are awesome.

But the main girl.... I don't know. Her design just ain't working for me. Not sure if I'll like her any better even if she was drawn in a more "traditional" anime style. :?

I think they're just handling distribution for Marvelous.

That makes sense, seeing how there's a Marvelous Entetainment USA website. I suppose that this increases the chance that this game will be localised, as more companies have a shot at licensing it. :)

To tell you the truth I have seen more hot women wear eye patches in Japan than I ever did in Canada, and those face masks too. Doesn't mean they are blind, Japanese have a lot of allergies so she probably just has an eye infection, should clear up by the end of the game.

It looks pretty nice though, and japanese release date is pretty soon. July 30th I think. The character designs are really nice, but from the trailers on the website, the music sounds annoying as hell. :?

I am ridiculous. I just found out that the Steal Princess opening theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbKw8ZScjvA) was written and performed by 榊原ゆい (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51p9-y%2BerZL.jpg), one of my favorite singers. Admittedly I haven't really kept up with her these days. But whatever you do, Atlus, PLEASE KEEP THE THEME!!!!
