Preparation H used to work, but most nowadays got rid of the ingredient that helped with reducing dark eye circles.

I think the DS one had vitals, or that you needed to use the stabilizer.

Oh yeah, they changed it entirely. XD The DS version's more realistic, Wii version... epic, but wow dude. If they have technology like that they should have flying cars and stuff like that.

Sadly yes, I had more problems with deftera than triti. I'd just activate my HT and go wild with Triti, Deftera on the other hand... Not a very happy 30 minutes of my life.

Well, I'm currently on Race for the Cure, which is where you have to gather antigens for a serum to cure the GUILT Greg Kasal has. Thus far, I've XSed everything...except Pandora's Box, which is Triti...>_> I immediately activated the HT and finished in about 20 seconds...but got a C! :very_sad:I really, really, really hate Triti, so I don't want to go back to it D: I just don't get the pattern; at all! =(

Glad Atlus learned in future titles that when you Retry, you retry from the Begin Operation screen and NOT the goddamn briefing! So annoying in SO when you just want to XS things, and constantly have to retry on the slightest of slips.



Am somewhat ambivalent toward the defibrilator--it was pretty interesting that you had to actually hold it in place, but not when it wouldn't stay (luckily I found out how to bypass this, sorta). I think I like NB's better, though.

Shoot, I forgot what else I was going to say in the middle of this post =( Maybe I'll remember later.

And yeah, it is pretty annoying when you retry and it takes you back to the briefing, but it makes sense for some people. I know my sister always needed to listen to it again to see where she went wrong... even though she should've just played it by ear like I did.

...I just gripped the Wiimote/nunchuck very tightly to stay calm...

I'm usually in the middle where I get a BAD, nowhere near the required 200 CHAIN mark...

I've left three operations without XSing them, the grades being S, B, and A. Right now I just reached Savato for the first time.

The Savato track seems better every time I hear it :D

EDIT as of 1:51 PM: Holy crap! HOOOOOLY CRAP!!! I just got an XS on Shifting Guilt (Triti)...on my own (kind of a lie)! The video I was following wasn't working for me because I guess I wasn't fast enough, but I...just followed the two-thorn rule and actually accomplished it on my own! It's a miracle because I still didn't understand the rule well enough, but still managed.

I beat the guy by 6 points (I got 6410!)! :D

In other news, I fail at Savato near the end =/ Like, the last part you must laser it to inject it. I did reach where you have to use the HT once, though...:D But I had already used it, even though I knew I wasn't supposed to :P

EDIT as of 2:40 PM: I love life again! I've gotten XS ranks in every operation preceding Death Awaits All (Savato)! I imagine I'll hate life again real soon, though--but if I can remain calm, I CAN DO IT!

I beat Second Opinion!

Of course, there are some little disappointments here and there...like not XSing Fallen Heroes and Vulnerability [yet] :very_sad:I swear I knew I was going to regret praising Atlus for scrapping the Sinner missions :very_sad:Chapter 6 wasn't bad, but Fallen Heroes is just insane--Triti can kiss my ass! I can get through it, but goddammit does it get on your nerves when you get a Miss and have to retry a ton of times, having to go through the damn briefing again!

Just to see what I would get myself into, I said, "Screw it!" and took the Misses, reached Deftera, and wanted to kill something/someone--WHAT THE FLIPPING ####!!! WHY DO VITALS DROP SO FAST!? ARRRRRGHHHHH. Not to mention that with me, they always seem to collide with same-colored Deftera. ####!!!

Intermission: OMG, the blood splatter on the screen in that one scene with the accompanying noise was so awesome!!! *cue first image of post to see how I felt*

I took my time over the course of two days, hoping I would at least complete the mission, but after nearly breaking my Wiimote/Nunchuck with a death grip/throwing it across the room, I decided to go on Normal and got an A.

I went back to Hard to do Vulnerability and got an A on my first try, but I'm positive I can get an XS--it was time that killed me; I finished with fifty-something seconds left, but got every other Bonus.

Haha, my hand was shaking again! XD I got so nervous because at the last lasering area, it kept making a lot of lacerations, making my vitals go into the red/yellow zone, and I did NOT want to retry when I was so close! I was so freaked out that I'd get a Bad and break my big-ass Chain because of the shaking; luckily, I didn't :D But still, what a ####ing tense mission! It was pretty cool, too, that it was a joint operation between Stiles and Kimishima/Weaver. Epic stuff.

Man, what a psychologically-damaging/exciting 17 hours, 20 minutes, and 47 whatever-seconds (milliseconds?) of my life! I can't believe that's how long it took me D: Damn you, Hard mode, you sadistic bastard! Damn you for making my masochistic self love every second of it, even throughout all the anger!

*sigh* I seriously want to say that so far, Second Opinion has been my greatest video game accomplishment...but I can't because I have an A rank staring at me, and an operation with no rank because I had to go on normal before I killed someone or myself! ARRRGHHH. Not to mention, if I really want to make that claim, I have to XS the X missions :very_sad:Why don't you just tear my pride, you heartless fiends! D:

Let it be known that dragonlife29 will attempt to XS those X missions, and he sure as hell will come back to share his adventures! That said, he may take a little rest; maybe after XSing Fallen Heroes and Vulnerability, of which the former may make him suicidal/homicidal (I'll tell you about that, too, as it develops. Maybe.).

Intermission: I said, "Well, #### me for killing myself over trying to get a No Misses" on the Relapse mission (Ch. 6, Tetarti) I had actually XSed it on my first try, even with a Miss...so I was confused. I was determined to get a No Misses Bonus, getting pissed here and there (a lot), and when I finally managed to do it WITHOUT getting any Misses, I didn't get a Bonus for it! I was like, "OMGWTF!!!" I laughed, cried, then got over it and laughed some more...D:

I think I've said this before on one of my other Trauma Center essays/rants, but this is really the only series where I recall actually feeling like, "Oh, ####! I can't fail!" and actually start tensing up/ get an increased heart rate from both excitement and...well, tension O_o

I STILL hold to my belief that New Blood is the best out of all the Trauma Center titles. Not only that, but I say with confidence that it's one of the best--if not the best--Wii titles ever; and it's multiplayer--a Wii must! It also happens to beat out Brawl as my favorite Wii game, by the way :D

Speaking of New Blood, I am so going to XS rank those operations and hope for good rankings online! w00t! I'm normally not competitive, worrying about scores and all that...but there's just something about TC that makes me want to dominate >_> Especially in NB, since, you know, it has leaderboards, and that's more than just my word of, "Yeah, I got this rank on this operation" and so on. It's nice to see how you compare to others, too :D

I'll say it again: I love you, Atlus! When my sister gets a Wii I'm buying her the game [New Blood], even if she doesn't want it XD I'll make sure to make my voice heard and hopefully net you some sales, even if small!

On my first shot at Deftera, I could've XSed it, but noooo!!! I had to get a miss when applying the membrane! WHO THE #### GETS A MISS ON THAT!? I NEVER GET THOSE. ARRRRGHHHH. I haven't been able to replicate success since.

Triti is so damn easy (I can't believe I'm saying that), but I keep getting a Miss, which doesn't allow me for an XS rank.

Savato is one tough son of a bitch. It took me the WHOLE ten minutes to laser him down! WTF!?

By the way, do you think it was a slip-up, or how it should have been: in Death Awaits All (Savato), when you reach the end and Derek's saying "Gotta concentrate...!" Angie's portrait pops up at one point and says something along the lines of, "The Healing Touch's not working...what am I going to do?"

It could make sense either way, though...she could just be saying that because of the patient whose life is on the line.

Oh, and something else I noticed that was probably an honest mistake :P: Angies says, "...I would advice..." instead of "...I would advise..."

XS'd X Deftera, and S'd Fallen Heroes (:( I wanted an XS, dammit!). I got a Bad in the final part of Fallen Heroes :very_sad: Luckily, I was over the required 150 Chain...but unfortunately, I got an S.

I always come close to XS'ing X Triti, but I either retry because I think I'll waste precious time, or get a Miss.

I XS'd X Triti and got my rank up to an A from a B on X Paraskevi. In all, I XS'd five X missions so far (Six, if you count the one on Kimishima's side). I'm almost done...

You know what I prefer? Captain Falcon on Port Aero Dive! We should just do Falcon Punches, nothing else. We can both do Ganondorf afterward, since a CF vs Ganon fight would be kind of unfair.

God-####ing-dammit. I was going to XS Fallen Heroes! I was at Paraskevi and I was doing awesome! Of course, I started getting nervous and my heart rate increased because I was like, "I'm gonna do it!" (that #### was beating, but good!), and my hands started shaking...:very_sad: My hands weren't to blame, though...I messed up and tried to pick up a Paraskevi I wasn't supposed to, and I got a Miss...! :very_sad: I wasn't as pissed as one would assume, though...I just paused it and slowly laid back on my bed (which doubles as my gaming couch :P) and sighed.

I tried again, but I kept messing up on Triti, so I decided to turn off the game for now.

omg I've so done something like that before. My brother in law was apparently at the computer behind me, and I didn't care much 'cause I wanted to beat the friggin thing and literally when I was about to beat the boss he appeared right behind me and killed me in one hit. I screamed my favorite swear combination and I just hear him behind me go "...wow..."

I wanna see you play I Wanna be the Guy, that game takes persistance to beat... and a copy that actually saves correctly, unlike mine. XD It's free online so you should give it a shot.

Actually, I remember there's a way to work out a system to beat Deftera without messing up. I don't entirely remember, but I know it has to do with how close the sets are with each other.

I remember doing the X-Missions on my week rental. I got up to X-Savato. I liked that you could alternate between Derek and Kimishima, mainly because of the two healing touches b=
I think I did Kyraki with Kimishima, Deftera with Kimishima, Triti with Derek, Pempti with Derek and Paraskevi with Derek if I do recall.
Savato would have my heart racing as I attempted to try and beat it.

The tray is so annoying in NB because you can break your Chain if you aren't careful; I liked SO's because you just dropped it and didn't have to worry about getting a "Bad" <_<
