As mentioned in the other thread, nowhere to be found in Ontario and Quebec stores (tried Future Shop, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, EB Games, Gamestop and Toys 'R'US on both sides of the provincial border).

None of these stores has it on their online store, which is usually not a good sign, since most new games are there a few weeks in advance for pre-orders.

Amazon.ca shows a 3-5 weeks delivery period (I ordered from there, waiting on that).

EB Games clerk said EB Games and Gamestop will not carry it in Canada as it probably does not conform to packaging laws (bilingual) like most Atlus games before (just repeating what he told me, no clue if that's the real reason).

Hi, I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada, been calling since release at Walmart, Zellers, and EB Games and none of them have had it, or had any idea when it'd arrive. I'm really hoping it isn't delayed because of french booklets x_x' That's what happened when Ubisoft released No More Heroes, I had to wait an additional 3 weeks past the release date T_T... (I think everyone gets how ironic that is too.)

It'd be good to get a heads up if that's the case though, so that I can order online instead of waiting 3 whole weeks, I've been telling a lot of my friends about this game, and a lot of them are looking forward to it -- it'll be a bummer to wait even longer x_x'

Me and my friends were really looking forward to Dokapon Kingdom and after multiple calls around the city every day, I can almost conclude that it didn't ship here! Notably, EB Games didn't have it and they usually have everything I need. I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba (Canada, of course!). I hope this is of use. :]

Apparently in Canada this game is very hard to find. I live in Vancouver, BC(Canada) and I've went to EBGames, Toys R Us, and Future Shop - all didn't have the game in their system or not in stock. I think at HMV they have some but I forgot to check. Send some to Canada!

I'm from Vancouver, BC as well, but I haven't actually gone looking for Dokapon Kingdom since I preordered it from Amazon.ca ages ago. I wouldn't be looking anyway - not because I don't want the game, because I do, but in my experience we tend to get games (EB, anyway) several days after the release. I mean, it took like a whole month for the EB I frequent to get copies of Rondo of Swords when it came out. (Or the guy at EB lied to me about not getting it in 'cause he sold my preorder or something stupid like that.)

The fact that it's listed as "ships within 3-5 weeks" on Amazon.ca (as previously mentioned in this thread) is something to worry about, though. D:

A group of us headed to Toys 'R Us to take advantage of their 3 for 2 game sale, and although we weren't expecting much this late in the sale, the lady at the counter hadn't even heard of the game, so we doubted it was in stock. Guess we'll have to grab it elsewhere later on.

hmm, funny... i live on the border of ontario and Quebec, and both my EBgames and gamestop carry it.. but for some reason it was not released until oct 16th, so today is the first day on shelves... (or supposed to be) but when i aclled in to ask they both said 16th was it's release day... so you shoulden't be able to NOT find it... try looking this weekend, should be out in our area now ;P

Didn't think about HMV... However, HMV in Quebec province are not carrying it (according to the HMV website, which looks like it's a French packaging issue after all). Closest Ontario HMV is Kingston or Ottawa, both about 2.5h drives. Bleh. I'll wait on Amanzon after all.

I live in San Diego, CA, and the EB games on College and El Cajon usually has Atlus games in stock, but they didn't have a single copy of Dokapon Kingdom in, and furthermore they didn't know when they would get a copy in. I suppose I should have pre-ordered.

Went to HMV (Montreal) just to confirm it wasn't just a glitch with the Quebec stores. It's not there.

However! Amazon.ca now lists it back in stock. I guess I should receive it sometime next week :) If someone at Atlus pulled some strings at Amazon, thanks!

Just checked around again today, no place had it. In fact today during my interview at EB Games for a Christmas position, we talked about Dokapon Kingdom for like 6 minutes x_x They seemed to think they might get it in on Monday maybe, but they didn't know much about the game, they seemed interested I can't help but feel it helped me during my interview x_x;

I was at the EBGames in the Irvine Spectrum (Irvine, California) and there was only one copy of the Wii version there. I didn't buy it, because I needed to put the case in front of the stack of Chocobo's Dungeon games.

I called around and got a copy for the Wii at the fourth gamestop I called. One only got one copy and it was reserved, the other two never heard of it. Also saw no sign of it at Best Buy. This is all northern Phoenix area.

Interestingly, it was the last copy. Also got their last wii fit. Took long enough.

I've been asking if they got any currently in stock, and if not, when they'll get it in -- the most EB Games has been able to tell me is whether or not it's in there afternoon shipment later that day (thus far it's yet to be shipped here from what I've been told, and from what I've seen). Most of the regular stores like Walmart can't tell anything outside of it being in stock or not.

Nor will Targets in LaPlata and Waldorf, Maryland

Specifically, the local Movie Gallery is the only in-town dealership for games. It'd be a serious hassle for me to arrange to head out of town to search (hour and a half bus rides?), and I've also already prepaid for the game in full there; I'm just waiting for it to arrive.

No issues here, the local EB had around 20 copies between both systems. The gamecrazy near my house only had 1 copy of the PS2 release, no Wii copies.

i rode my bike to the gamestop today (it was a long and perilious journey...not really) and when i asked if they had that game the guy gave me a weird look saying "huh?" and he said there is no "dokapon kingdom" anywhere on the computer system....so then i rode my back home thinking "maybe it didn't come out" but when i checked online it said it did!!! and on the gamestop website they said they had it! whs is this???

Yes, Wal-Mart doesn't carry the vaaaaast majority of Atlus titles. You should be able to find Dokapon Kingdom in more game-centric strores like GameCrazy, GameStop, EBGames, places like that.

A bit late, but to those who claim it can't be found in Quebec, nearly every video game store I've been to in the Quebec city area, plus HMV, have at least one copy if not more. I don't know if that was a problem fixed by this thread.
