I've been doing my utmost to *not* see any trailers or art or reviews or discussion for this game. I'm SUPER excited for it, and I want to be surprised by every little thing in the game.

Anyone else?

Yeah, it's getting REALLY hard when my youtube friends are starting to do videos of the Japanese version.

Oh and SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE!!!

I've given up on that a long time ago. But knowing myself, I will forget most of it anyways once I start the game.

I've said this before, but with most of the games I'm interested in, I go on media blackouts.

I didn't even watch the little episode things for P3 well after I beat the game, haha. Same for FES.

On P4 I made a small exception with the recent webisodes...but I think I'll stop...maybe.

The only game I couldn't control myself with was Brawl...God, the pain of the delays was too much D: I NEEDED TO KNOW.

Yes. I've only checked out the trailer when the game was announced this summer. I made the mistake of partially looking at one of the webisodes and was a bit disappointed with the voice acting.

I haven't watched any trailers besides the announcement one, but I've had the game spoiled by topics on this board so it's too late to go back now.

checked out the initial trailer. made sure social links are there, and other than that avoiding anything else till I finish the game.

I'm the exact opposite. I look up everything about the game that I can, especially the art and music, and watch videos of the japanese version if they're out there. That usually helps to determine if it's a game that I want and if so, it just ups my anticipation even more.

ME. SO MUCH. It's made even worse by the fact that I live where I do. *cough* I pre-ordered P4 (and LumArc2) from Amazon and put the shipping address as my aunt's in California, and she'll bring it over to the Philippines when we're there during Christmas... Gaaaah. Y'know, this icon is pretty much the summation of all I've said and all I've NOT said as well: :seesaw:

Well, I'm trying to avoid it, even though I watched the webisodes. I haven't got far than that. :P
December is near, my friends! Worry not! =D

That's pretty much me. I accidentally got spoiled on a few things and then I decided what the heck and started watching YouTube vids. I've avoided the other major stuff as best I can. But I have watched enough to get the vibe on what's going on with most of the social links.

That's basically exactly what I do as well lol.

I'm more trying to minimize what I see about this game. I will watch trailers, but after watching the first couple webisodes, I decided I'd be better off avoiding them. Instead, I keep the P4 OST in my car to keep me hyped for this game...

I'm not reading/watching anything that hast to do with this game. I want to be surprised to the maximum. I didn't even read this thread.

I'm also one of the list! I haven't seen too much videos and haven't read anything, regarding the story. I really don't want to spoil anything from this game like I did with Persona 3 and FES >_<

I've been trying to, but a handful of the larger mysteries were already revealed to me by my friends shoving them in my face as they were revealed in the Japanese version.

...jerks.

Ive been trying to avoid info as much as possible but when Atlus pulls out all these extras and crap, its so hard to resist.
Even the new trailers. >.<

As long as I can avoid the characters, plot, etc, until the actual game comes out I'll be fine.

I haven't seen much of the webisodes, just a couple, to hear some of the English voice acting but just that. I hope I would not read/see anything that spoils the story for me! >_>

And I think I will do the same with "Devil Summoner RK vs King Abaddon". Of course, if that game will someday sees the light of the day for us.

I actually preordered the OST for Persona 4 first chance I got and I am pretty pleased with it. As far as details regarding storyline, characters, dungeons etc go I tend to ignore them so I can be surprised when I finally play.

I did read a review of the import on rpgfan but they marked the spoilers section which I skipped. :) Only about a month away and I can't wait!

I don't really care about spoilers. Someone told me Aeris died in FFVII...the first day I got it. That experience killed the nerves.

I kinda like reading about games before the launch; if anything I get more excited cause it's like "whoa, i wonder if this gonna happen or if something happens to so-and-so" etc.

In all honesty...I'm busy keeping up with other stuff. :)

For gaming, December is a BIG, BIIIIG month. Persona 4 may be on the bottom on my list, but it's still ON my list.

Damn that must sucked or you cheered in amazement.
Lol either way, I am sorry for that experience. :o

^LOL I just got her in the church too and my friend was like "she dies, eh. Sephiroth stabs her." Spoken so casually!

Thanks Sseklebeast :) I didn't draw it though; I got it from someone on DA (tealgeezus)

Oh and SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE!!!

Damnit! You ruined the book series for me now! D:

It's not hard to not look at the information. I'll inform others to NOT show my any P4 information until AFTER Dec. 9. ^^;;; With Atlus Faithful emails, I'll skim and move. This is probably because the spoiler bug hasn't bitten me yet.

While I have seen several clips on Persona 4, thankfully none of them appear to have been any spoilers. Right now I'm avoiding any future information on the game because I love being surprised or finding out things on my own.

Besides I still have Grandia Xtreme, Yakuza 2, and Eternal Poison (coming soon) to keep me busy for a good while until early December.

I just can't resist to spoiler. I know a lot of key element in Persona 4 without even touching the game. Still reading some stuff on the Internet is not like experiencing the real thing in the game. So, I'm going to enjoy every bit of persona 4 just the same .

Although I tried to avoid so much information about Persona 4, I accidentally read some *spoilers* about Kanji and Naoto's story. It was really heart breaking for me because for me it is really a big *spoiler*. So I decided to limit myself on webisodes and trailers to check on the voice quality of the characters. I also watched some Japanese video clips in you tube just to see some enhancements from the game. But from what I have learned and know now about persona 4, I guess its time to avoid all possible information about the game...

haha i know what you mean, i stumbled upon a ton of spoilers on wikipedia, ####ing wikipedia, anyways :) the game will be amazing regardless but we're all impatient, despite the quick release date. it sucks that you got 2 of the character's stories already, but what can you do eh? If only people's brains were managable like computers.... delete this, delete that, okay now to learn math... download and install :P

Enzo_Kensei
11-14-2008, 07:02 PM
Yeah, I totally agree with you. I got the spoiler from wikipedia. I thought they were only showing the character information and stuff but what the hell? They showed each story of each characters... The only thing that makes up for the spoilers is for me to know the reason why their like that. :D

It's hard not to dive into all the details about a game before it comes out, but I've found that I enjoy games much more when I don't know every feature and detail. For instance, I bought Baroque without knowing much about it and so far I love it. Haven't quite finished it yet. But I was surprised when I found out how you have to progress the story.

Enzo_Kensei
11-14-2008, 07:28 PM
I think the primary reason why we know so many spoilers from now, its because we're so impatient. But I just can't resist all the reviews and webisodes so, yeah its my fault. But still, damn that wiki. Hehe. :)

I know how you feel man. I couldn't hold back, so I watched the P4 trailer. But luckily I still don't know much about it, and now I only want it even more :P.
