Those of you who get the newsletter are already aware of the Social Link Expansion Pack available on amazon.
I just wanna know... it says Persona 4 game disc is in there, but sold seperately... So that basically means it's not gonna be in the pack right?

Of course, I forgot that the soundtrack for P3 came inside the art book, and since P4 doesn't come with one [inside], I guess a jewel case wouldn't be too farfethched.

They could have made the deal with a different retailer... It is true that Atlus only has to worry about their american customers (the vast majority of its market), but they do have certain degree of control over these things. They must have chosen Amazon for a reason, though.

You are right, but if enough people complain, Atlus might change its policies (Teddy plushie is a perfect example). Since PS3 is region-free, a lot of europeans are discovering the joy of importing, we are a force to be reckoned with :D

I imagine they went with Amazon since they're the biggest boy on the block when it comes to this sort of thing. So giving them exclusives makes good business sense. Also, this branch of Atlus is NA focused. Who's to say there won't be something special when the game comes out in Europe?

I was about to point out too that if we europeans are to get Persona 4 we will get it like 1-5 months after its released in NA with doubled cost and no specials with the game, this happened with P3 so I really doubt it wont happen with P4. The chances we're getting something special are non-existant. And if we do get it won't be something cool as this. (Woah ultra rare shirt) Nah, Import is the way for the game, for these specials just gotta forget them and live in despair.

Oh, I have been importing for quite a while now (I modded my ps2 for that reason, but Swap Magic does the trick too). The problem is that we europeans can´t import from Amazon (I can buy a book but not a videogame, WTF).

I am not that interested in this Expansion Pack( getting the free artbook is enough for me), but I hope that future limited bonuses will be more import friendly (maybe SMT4 PS3?).

Weird...mine came yesterday but I received two boxes total. One was the padded envelope box for the game like you stated but I just received a single smaller box for the Social Link Expansion. It was pretty banged up but the contents were not damaged unless you count the calendar being slightly creased. Still a little miffed about that but oh well.

I think an Atlus fellow already mentioned this on the first page, but to re-iterate; if you push the spindle a little (don't break it), the other side has a spindle that easily fits the other cd.

I was thinking nail because that's how my parents did it when I still lived with them. Nails come with small enough... um... heads (?) for the hole in the calender. So you wouldn't need to pry it out every month. But I would definitely be a lot more comfortable with a thumb tack. I don't even know if I own a hammer...
