I friggin love that. I do wish there was a way to see the rankings on computer though. I bet there is somewhere and I haven't looked enough.
Last I checked I was like 28th place for final surgery, and I'm not even done with the X-Missions.:D

How's everyone else doing on that?

dragonlife29
10-08-2008, 12:02 AM
My friend and I made it on the top ten once with an S ranking! (forget what mission) :D We were so proud! Of course, we haven't checked/updated in ages, so it's very likely we've been bumped down.

We also haven't done the X missions.

sora4126
10-11-2008, 11:46 PM
I'm sure if my friend I played with didn't fail at everything he does, except DDR, then I'd have made it to the top 10, but alas I'm stuck doing them all on my own. Wish I could make a clone...

dragonlife29
10-12-2008, 10:45 AM
Holy crap; did you beat the game by yourself?

sora4126
10-12-2008, 11:02 AM
Yep. Well, except for the X-Missions.

dragonlife29
10-12-2008, 11:50 AM
Damn.

My friend and I had issues on some missions...I can't imagine doing the game by myself...

However, I did start trying by myself a few days ago :D I'm sure I can do it ;) Heh...I was so confident I could do Cardia by myself, but epic fail ensued  That's when I decided to start from the beginning.

sora4126
10-13-2008, 02:09 PM
Yeah, it's kinda rough at first doing it on your own, but you get the hang of it. Good luck, Brother!

dragonlife29
10-14-2008, 12:48 PM
Actually, the game's rather easy by myself, which makes me wonder why exactly I had problems with some of the operations in co-op...O_o I even outscored most of the operations my friend and I did in co-op

She was holding me back! That devil! :P

I am a little intimidated by the later missions, though; right now I'm on 6-2, I believe--I'm almost done! :D I played a lot yesterday.

sora4126
10-14-2008, 12:57 PM
Haha. Looks like we were both being held back by co-op play. XD
Lemme know how you do on Master Vakhushti (Still don't know how to spell his name) 'Cause that surgery is my favorite. Still stuck on X-1.

dragonlife29
10-14-2008, 01:21 PM
I absolutely love that mission, mainly for the music :P SO EPIC. I'm sure I can get to it by the end of the day and try the X missions (if I can even do Cardia by myself >_>).

Speaking of epic, New Blood has the best remix of the operation briefing music from Under the Knife.

sora4126
10-14-2008, 01:28 PM
Oh god yes. When I first heard I totally nerdgasmed.
Everything about the final surgery is just amazing though. I need to find copies of the songs, even the pre-op song.

And don't worry, once you get the hang of Cardia's patterns it's really easy.

I have New Blood and TC2's soundtracks :D I can send you any songs you want, so long as you give me your e-mail. I have all my favorites in my iPod :D

sora4126
10-14-2008, 01:43 PM
Where do you find those? I've been searching for quite a long time looking for them. I've only managed to find that part two of the Cardia song, which did tide me over... until I had to wipe my hard drive. XD

dragonlife29
10-14-2008, 01:52 PM
To be honest, I don't remember. I know I used Google, though--that itself is amazing because I'm a notoriously bad/lazy searcher XD

I can send you the WinRAR files containing each OST if you prefer that. If not, I'll see if I can retrace my steps.

sora4126

Huzzah! WinRAR would be cool if it's not much trouble. I think I left my e-mail address in my contact info, but I'll message it to you just in case. Thanks, Brother!

dragonlife29
10-14-2008, 02:01 PM
I don't really look at profiles...but since you brought it up I looked and didn't see anything. I'll add something extra to the PM, though :D

sora4126
10-14-2008, 02:10 PM
Yay, thanks new best friend.

dragonlife29
10-14-2008, 07:43 PM
Well, I reached a small roadblock:

In Culuruma where you deal with 3 Stigma-infected patients in a row--mainly the final one...the one before is the one with the expandable arms (annoying as all hell), while the last one is the one that's some sort of Pong nightmare.

I got annoyed with it, so I'll try tomorrow >_>

sora4126
10-15-2008, 10:50 AM
Gyad I friggin hate that expandable arms one. And I don't really remember that last one you're talking about, been awhile since I've gone through the whole game.

dragonlife29
10-15-2008, 11:00 AM
I think it's called Ops. The first time you face it is in Wish Come True: Miracle Surgery--there are two organisms on each side of the screen throwing little balls you need to use the drain on, sometimes red things you'll need to laser. The Stigma is blue with a green core and you laser it

sora4126
10-15-2008, 11:01 AM
Oh god, yeah I remember that. Definitely threw me on the verge of suicide until I beat it.

dragonlife29
10-15-2008, 04:41 PM
Yeah; I used the HT when they split just so I wouldn't kill myself before I could finish...it took away the sting a little D:

You know what really made my blood boil? Triti in the original. JESUS. CHRIST. I'm somewhat vocal when I play games by myself, but this strain took it to a whole new level--RAGE. If I lost I'd scream, "GODDAMMIT!!!!" and slam the table I was at :P The Sinner one was the worst creation any human could ever concoct.

I was so devastated when I read in one of the briefings in TC2 that the PGS was that of the Triti kind...but then I opened them up and it was just the thorns! I WAS SOOOOOOOOOO RELIEVED D:

sora4126
10-15-2008, 05:51 PM
Oh god... Triti... RAGE!
I can not even tell you what I said each time I screwed up.

dragonlife29
10-16-2008, 10:22 AM
I'm just about to try Cardia!

sora4126
10-16-2008, 10:35 AM
Huzzah, good luck! Once you beat it, try going to the online ranking and look at how ridiculous that person whose number 1 is. He has to be using tool assists or something, 'cause that's just a crazy score.

dragonlife29
10-16-2008, 10:45 AM
Damn you, Cardia and Healing Touch! DAMN YOU!

I got to the part where you have to use the HT, but when I drew it out it wasn't recognized and the cores exploded D:

I should be used to this stage, for Pete's sake! But my hand still shakes out of nervousness/excitement XD I think my heart rate gets a little higher, too...>_>

Damn you TC for immersing me so!

sora4126
10-16-2008, 10:50 AM
Wait, your hands actually shake? That's pretty hardcore. And yeah, it is annoying if you mess up at all with the HT, 'cause the game's practically saying, "You should know how to do this by now, so screw you!"

dragonlife29
10-16-2008, 10:57 AM
Wait, your hands actually shake? That's pretty hardcore. And yeah, it is annoying if you mess up at all with the HT, 'cause the game's practically saying, "You should know how to do this by now, so screw you!"Well, mainly the hand holding the Wiimote.

Wait, you're telling me you feel NOTHING on final missions in TC games? For every one I've done I've always felt--again--nervousness/excitement/increased heart rate. Maybe it's just me, though. Of course, it could be the awesome tracks that play, too--especially Cardia since it's so...fitting.

Oh, and I failed again D: Same part.

sora4126
10-16-2008, 11:03 AM
I get excited, but I dunno my mind and the music make my mind go into "Don't fail" mode, so I act calm during every final thing in every game.
And I don't think it's just you, I know a couple of my friends do similar things. Except, my friend I played NB with for awhile did it with all the intense missions... which made him mess up everything even more than he normally would.

dragonlife29
10-16-2008, 11:06 AM
OMG.

I S-RANKED THAT BITCH!

OOOOMMMMGGG!!!

I feel so accomplished ;_;

Time to call my friend about it! (YES! IT'S WORTH A CALL!!!)

sora4126
10-16-2008, 11:11 AM
Congratulations on your victory, Brother. And I do believe it's worth a call.

dragonlife29
10-16-2008, 11:13 AM
Time to go to Hard! (After beating SO, maybe)

OMG! That's what I named the e-mail I was going to send you with the OSTs! XD

sora4126
10-16-2008, 11:32 AM
There definitely are some things on hard that are harder than Cardia on hard...
Wait, didn't you say you were gonna try playing through as Valerie?

dragonlife29
10-16-2008, 11:39 AM
Yeah, I am; I just don't feel like going through the whole game again on the same difficulty, so I'll play SO. When I'm done, I'll go back to NB and play as Valerie on normal, then go to hard after some time has elapsed.

Oh, and I'm ranked 152 on Cardia  I saw the Japanese guy you mentioned, but it doesn't seem too farfetched to me. That crazy chain number must mean he meticulously cut off each membrane one by one in the beginning.

sora4126
10-16-2008, 11:42 AM
No, I've tried that, and that alone isn't enough. And I double checked my score and I'm pushed back to 38. :emotear:

dragonlife29
10-16-2008, 11:50 AM
No, I've tried that, and that alone isn't enough. And I double checked my score and I'm pushed back to 38. :emotear:I guess we now know which of us is better at the game :'( But I'll catch up to you; I know it! >=)

Roughly, what's the highest chain you can get on the membranes if you take them out one by one? Maybe he had enough patience to suture tons of lacerations...

sora4126
10-16-2008, 11:56 AM
I wanna say about 200-300. I've tried doing mass suturing, but there's always a point where I get one bad and it ruins everything.

dragonlife29
10-16-2008, 03:47 PM
Well, I started Second Opinion...on Hard :D I've actually gotten XS ranks in all the operations I've done up to this point, excluding that cursed Healing Touch training (A rank). I just got done with the very first aneurysm operation, so I'm not too far in.

*sigh* Four games and I still suck at conjuring up the HT =(

sora4126
10-16-2008, 05:12 PM
Well, yeah, the HT is hard. XD Friggin straight lines. I think you'll like SO, it's pretty awesome.

dragonlife29
10-16-2008, 11:15 PM
I went back to that one ^ and got an XS :D I have ALL XS ranks so far :D I can't believe how good I am! =O

OMG, as soon as I'm done with SO I'm going straight to Hard in NB with Markus <3 (Yeah, screw my earlier plans--I wanna increase my [online] rank, dammit!)

sora4126
10-17-2008, 09:49 AM
That is pretty awesome. I guess all your training with Dr Vaughn is paying off. And Hard mode in NB is harder than SO. I think some point in Chapterf 2... not entirely sure though. I do believe you now have rights to sing this song :D: http://www.fileupyours.com/files/173960/imashark.jpg

dragonlife29
10-17-2008, 05:12 PM
What in the world...? O_o

sora4126
10-17-2008, 06:43 PM
Err... there should be a surgery where you help some guy who got attacked by a shark! That's what I meant... :D
That would be interesting, needing to pick out the shards of teeth and stuff.

dragonlife29
10-17-2008, 06:55 PM
Oh, wow--that actually sounds very plausible! =O I wonder why I never thought of that...

Hey, man, let's discuss something:

What can Atlus do to change up some operations? It's probably because I've played all TC games, but they're definitely becoming a little similar to each other (Personally, it's not enough for me to not still love the damn games :D)

That shark idea of yours was pretty genius, even if it wasn't that intentional...but what else? I can only come up with so many radical ideas on my own...>_>

sora4126
10-17-2008, 07:17 PM
Umm, well I say some surgery where your patient HAS to die would be an interesting twist. And not looking like it's supposed to die. So then the player would be like "Oh ####!! I can't lose... I lost... wait not a game over?" Then the next surgery the doctor awakens to Healing Touch. I've always thought that would be pretty interesting.

Or for during actual operations, start up broken leg stuff. XD Like... say... someone tears a ligament in their leg, you cut one part open, take a graft, then do the drill through bone and fit the graft through it... Gee I wonder where I got that idea from. XD

Or something else would be to try and mix anesthesia correctly before the surgery and each patient has theirs differently, like in reality.

I could prolly go on, but I don't wanna flood all my ideas in one post.

dragonlife29
10-18-2008, 10:00 PM
Dude! I DID IT!

Sale +1 for Atlus! :D Remember the friend I played NB with? Well, I got her addicted to the games, and when she finally got a DS a few days ago, the first game she bought was TC2!!! :D

I am so happy!

Haha...with that out of the way, that idea about a patient HAVING to die is awesome; however, I'd like for it to be like Emilio's operation where it's a little obvious at the end, since I'd reset/retry before I found out the patient has to die (Reminds me of some RPG fights I've had...where I reset because I lost...)

sora4126
10-18-2008, 10:08 PM
Hah haaah. Good job converting her to the light side. If only UTK2 had multiplayer on it, then you two could have more fun.

And yeah, you do have a point, *just got to the part where Emilio dies last night* That was pretty upsetting they killed off the one Mexican in the game, and they all kept calling him "That Mexican kid" Anyway, back on track you're right about it being as a scene would be better... Hmm...

dragonlife29
10-18-2008, 10:10 PM
OMG! What are you doing!? SPOILER THAT ####! XD

sora4126
10-18-2008, 10:13 PM
lmao,so forgot other people actually do look in here too, even though we're the only one's who post. XD Sorry about that.

dragonlife29
10-18-2008, 10:22 PM
I hate spoilers, so I'll get on your case about it if it happens again :P

Well, maybe not a cutscene per se, but sorta like those "scenes" where the HT will activate itself, etc.

Oh, and I finally got my oldest sister to play NB with me as well...uh...it was very slow. I think we only did three or four operations because she's never in her life played a Wii--and I think the last game she ever played was SMB on the NES >_>

Haha...she kept having issues selecting tools with the nunchuck, so that's really why things went slow, as I wanted her to try doing things on her own while I did vitals, etc.

We got lots of failures due to running out of time...>_>

sora4126
10-18-2008, 10:25 PM
That's not as bad as when I got my sister to play it the first time. She was drunk off her mind. So it was hilarious, but when I actually wanted to play through it it started to get annoying.

And yeah, that would be interesting like those HT things... Let's hope Atlus listens to us!

dragonlife29
10-18-2008, 10:31 PM

Drunk while playing the Wii? Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Meh...I was actually glad my sister even gave it a chance, to be honest. My other sister would sometimes come in my room while my friend and I were playing and she'd say "That's dumb," etc. Of course, I think she only said it to piss me off...and when I ask her if she wants to play, she never wants to =/

sora4126
10-18-2008, 10:45 PM
That's just mean of your other sister. No one should mock TC, even if it to just get a rise out of someone.

dragonlife29
10-22-2008, 03:53 PM
So...you have XS ranks for all operations in NB?

Oh, and you beat me! I've been trying to come up with a good TC thing to put in my Brawl message area =( When I saw yours a while ago I was like, "That bastard XD" More so me for not thinking of it D:

I may use the term Dokapwnd when I play it and I like it as much as I hope XD

sora4126
10-22-2008, 04:19 PM
Umm, no. XD I just wanted to get through the game, only one I have an XS off the top of my head is Vakhushti. I should prolly do that. XD Same fo SO and UTK's.

You should put your Brawl thing as "The vitals!!". I was just sitting thinking what would be better than "..." Then that popped into my head.

dragonlife29
10-22-2008, 04:27 PM
And here I thought you were better than me in the ranks department XD

We'll have to compare scores in SO...>_> TC2 as well.

See, Atlus? The DS versions could use leader boards, too :)

Hmm...I don't know about that one. I'll have to think of something. Haha...my last one was "Insert something witty." XD

sora4126
10-22-2008, 04:32 PM
Well, I'll just drill through 'em and get XS's on 'em all too then. XD I'll have plenty of downtime soon.

And like I said, I'm way bad at the DS versions. XD

I think that something witty one's kinda awesome. XD

dragonlife29
10-22-2008, 09:03 PM
You make it sound easy...>_>

sora4126
10-22-2008, 09:19 PM
lol, I tend to do that. Even though I know there'll be times I'll end up wanting to kill myself.

dragonlife29
10-31-2008, 10:42 AM
Damn! I have got a tough road ahead of me O_o

Compared to SO, NB seems smaller for some reason! I was so used to it but when I tried, it felt a little different...

I've XS'd some operations--three, I think. Right now I'm on Elena's pump unit one, and Holy Mother of Christ, WTF!? So hard to XS it! D: Luckily, I've yet to get pissed, even with a bunch of retries [on previous ones, too].

The very first operation net me a B with my best effort! D: Of course, after some small practice, I XS'd it, but damn...even the first one gave me issues! XD

EDIT as of 12:32 PM: XS'd Elena's operation! :D

sora4126
10-31-2008, 11:44 AM
Awesomeness. I'm gonna get started either later today or tomorrow. My doc says I'm healing way better than he anticipated, so yippee!

Anyway, I always have dificulties XSing the first operation, it's like, one mistake and you're done.

dragonlife29
10-31-2008, 12:57 PM
You know that operation where Valerie discovers her HT? On the Sister? I'm rank 22! :D I can't fathom how any of the top 10 managed the scores they got...and the chains...=/

I noticed an ATLUS on the leader boards, but I wonder if it's an employee or just some fan. Either way, they outranked me on one, I think XD

I'm currently trying to XS Challenge 1, but so far have only S'd it. I got 29,something--I'm guessing 30,000+ is an XS rank.

dragonlife29
10-31-2008, 05:07 PM
Still haven't XS'd Challenge 1, but have everything else preceding the skin graft/burn operation; burn, Rousseau, burn! >=D

You know what I like? I don't get mad with this game, even when a Miss occurs late in an operation (Challenge 1...); fortunately, they're very rare.

sora4126
10-31-2008, 07:17 PM
omg, Yeah! That one surgery I was all like "Why can't I let you die!!??"

Is it wrong that whenever I'm doing that surgery on the sister I can't help but yell "Where's your god now!?!?"? :D

dragonlife29
10-31-2008, 07:56 PM
LMFAO! That is cold-blooded, yet sooo awesome! Awesome Gaiden's "GOD CAN'T HELP YOU NOOOW!!!" line would fit so perfectly in your post!

Anyway; What. The. ####!!! Why is the plate retarded!? I keep messing up my chains because I keep getting Bads when placing glass shards, and it's pissing me off!

sora4126
10-31-2008, 08:16 PM
omg Brother, I have videos of my surgery! I got them today and found them in that DVD he gave me. It's nowhere near as cool as Trauma Center but still interesting. I has clean looking bones and tissues!

Anyway, I loved Awesome Gaiden. But it wouldn't seem as appropriate 'cause she's not like "Oh god help me!!"

dragonlife29
10-31-2008, 08:22 PM
YOU DO!? UPLOAD THAT ####!!! XD

I love watching surgeries on TV <3

EDIT: Oh, DVD? Damn...I got all excited =(

sora4126
10-31-2008, 08:26 PM
Well, I can easily get it off the DVD, but it's hella long! Like about an hour, youtube would divide by zero.

I was thinking about it and adding TC music...
I'll think about making private videos of it.

dragonlife29
10-31-2008, 08:30 PM

Adding TC music to your surgery, huh?

...

...

That is awesome! I LOVE IT! XD Savato, Cardia II, GUILT (SO), Encroaching Shadows, Confronting the Menace, Operation Briefing ~ SO Arranged (NB), plz!

sora4126
10-31-2008, 08:38 PM
Maybe.
However, I have only Vulnerability from SO. I'll check for more.

dragonlife29
10-31-2008, 08:40 PM
=O!

That's it??? You just made me shed a tear :'( I can provide the rest, if you want.

sora4126
10-31-2008, 08:42 PM
Sure, but I have to ice my leg and stuff now so I'll talk again tomorrow.

dragonlife29
11-01-2008, 08:23 PM
Dude, I went from 23 to 8, to 4 on the leaderboards! I've been trying to get to spot 1, but I keep messing up sometimes D: I'm only 10 points away!!! D: I was going to snap a pic as proof, but I'll only do it when I at least get in the top 3 XD

*Cursed Burden is the operation.

And yeah, I did the same mission for over two hours >_>

sora4126
11-01-2008, 08:31 PM
Oh snap. I hope you get to 1 so then when I look there I can be like, "I know him!"
And yeah, that's not too bad to spend a couple hours on one mission, I've seen people do crazier game things... well people as in me. XD

dragonlife29
11-01-2008, 08:40 PM
I never expected I'd have the patience to do it, honestly. Second Opinion this game is not--I just love doing the operations until I get 'em right, whereas in SO I would just get plain 'ol irritated =/

I even managed to do the disinfecting/incision in under a second...>_> I'm amazed! XD

Heh...stuff like what? I don't think I'd ever have the patience for some of the crazier things...but like I've said before, Trauma Center is an exception :P

sora4126
11-01-2008, 08:57 PM
True, NB is easier to go through more than SO, prolly 'cause you don't need to see the briefings every time.

And well there's a lot, but one time I was playing Kingdom Hearts, and I got to level 100 (highest level in game) at the 3rd world (out of over 10). That was a summer vacation well spent.

dragonlife29
11-01-2008, 09:04 PM
That, and NB is the better game :P Seriously, part of the reason I got irritated with SO is because--well, the briefings were a small part of it--the operations just...well, irritated me XD I'm not sure anymore.

NB really is the superior game in my eyes...and even though it's hard as heck to XS (since the bonuses are more varied--at least to me--they're harder to achieve at times).

OMG...that just sounds boring--and yeah, you're crazy :P I don't think I've ever done anything like that =(

sora4126
11-01-2008, 09:08 PM
True, they really did improve it from SO by a whooole lot. I still need to do the friggin X-Missions!! XD

Yeah I'm crazy, but it's not like I had anything else to do that summer. XD What's worse is my nephew deleted the file to be "funny" so that was a good year or so of ignoring him.

dragonlife29
11-01-2008, 09:12 PM
I agree, even though I played NB before SO.

OMG, that just sucks! XD

Anyway, I think I'm going to have another go at that one operation for spot number 1 in a while! >=)

sora4126
11-01-2008, 09:17 PM
Cool, 'cause once I finish this assignment I need to elevate my leg for a bit so that works for me too. XD

dragonlife29
11-01-2008, 09:38 PM
Well, I'll wait until you're done, I guess--let me know when that is.

BTW, can't you ask/make your mom/dad look for your SO disc? I wanna compare scores XD

sora4126

Well, I'm prolly gonna head out at about 11.

I could ask them... but I have trust issues, yes with my own family, so I wouldn't like the concept of them looking through my stuff. I have a general idea of where it is so yeah, if it's in the box I think it's in, I'll just get my sister or someone to move it down for me.

It took me HOURS to get from 4th to 2nd...and I think I've come close to beating that score, but I keep getting "Good" when bandaging every time I think I could've beaten him :very_sad:

He beat me by ONE CHAIN! I hate the world! :very_sad:

And apparently, Europeans exist! =O I saw one for the first time today! They're orange.

Oh snap, you just need 2 more combos to be on top! Go for it!

And wtf? Orange?

Ouch, sorry dude.

I take it they're still mythological creatures to you--on the leaderboards, Europe's color is orange.

Also, trust me when I say that I've tried matching his chain; the problem is, if I do, I waste time and when I'm done, I wind up with less points.

sora4126
11-02-2008, 10:38 PM
Oh, yeah, well I haven't seen any Europeans on there yet. XD

And I do trust that you've tried, I do think it's awesome you've gotten that for and I'll support you if you keep going. :grouphug:

I'm pretty damn proud :P I like this one because it's actually within my grasp; apparently, NB's leaderboards can be exploited so that the highest score doesn't necessarily have to come from an XS ranking =/

Basically, if you've yet to upload/get a score on an operation, you can let all sorts of bad stuff happen to your patient so that your score outweighs a score you could've gotten with speed/skill/XS rank...=/ Like, just keep using the time for chains to the point where the Bonuses will be outweighed and useless. That explains the current leader for Cardia!

The leaderboards better be fixed for the next one! Maybe we could get some for each rank? Maybe one for each rank, and an "ultimate" one that tallies up all your operation scores or something (but then, people would exploit it, too...).

Ugh, your discovery makes me angry. I tried so hard on Cardia and those douchewads cheated the system. :frown:

They better fix that.
Maybe I'll give that operation a try, which one is it again?

dragonlife29
11-02-2008, 10:59 PM
Yeah, it's pretty depressing =(

The operation's Cursed Burden! I definitely want you to try it--maybe even think, "How did he get that score!?!?!?!?" XD

I'll give it a shot tomorrow, if I can organize my sensor bar in a good spot for me to keep elevated.
I'd laugh if first try and I get 1st. :p

dragonlife29
11-02-2008, 11:07 PM
Well, when you attempt it, just know we'll be enemies, 'cause I'll be fighting for that top spot!

Oh, and let me know what your first placement was on the leaderboards! I believe mine was low-to-mid twenties.

sora4126

Sure, I'll try and remember my first spot tomorrow. To be honest though, there aren't many at all I wanna be ranked 1 for.

Like that stupid brain one...>_> I hated that one, but I found this today!

Holy ####, he has a real HT! XD

I know if I tried to do that I'd end up killing the patient in half a second.

Same here; I can't even pull out the plugs correctly =(

Why did they have to come back in TC2? Whyyyyy? In sets, no less D:

I haven't played NB today ='(

sora4126

Plugs suck, I literally tried holding one in place, and after a bit it was like "screw you *BAD*"

dragonlife29

My friend told me she just pulled them out vertically...>_> I didn't buy it at first because my memory was cloudy, and I thought I tried that...but I've yet to try it out on this playthrough [in TC2].

sora4126

Yeah, I do vertically, maybe it just hates me.

Hey!

Is music important to you in the series?

sora4126
11-05-2008, 08:58 PM
Yeah, music's important to me in games in general. Why I had problems with Earthbound. XD
You?

dragonlife29
11-05-2008, 09:19 PM
Definitely! In general, as well.

I was just wondering, since each TC has had a different composer. (I'll count UtK and SO as one). Meguro is pretty damn talented, but to be honest, I was glad he did not come back for NB and TC2, since I honestly love their soundtracks much more than Meguro's in SO/UtK.

What do you think? Will we see this tradition? A different composer for each TC? I wouldn't mind...but I already miss Atsushi Kitajo =( (NB).

sora4126
11-05-2008, 09:29 PM
Well, I'd like more of Kitajo, however, it would be interesting to hear different composers for each game.

dragonlife29
11-05-2008, 09:39 PM
So you're for it? I am, too.

Do you think Kitajo and Namiki (TC2) are from Atlus or freelance composers? I'm definitely excited to see what composer the hire for the next one!

There better be epicness, though! Especially for the final operation.

sora4126
11-05-2008, 10:01 PM
Well, I bet they're freelance gaming composers.

And if the final operation isn't epic I will not like the game!

The image is a lie, of course--everyone cares about this thread, so don't you dare think otherwise! (didn't want to photoshop it--too lazy).

Anyway, it figures my skills would go down the pooper after a small hiatus! I can still XS some missions, but the pointer feels "finicky" for some reason. I'm currently on Good Samaritans.

Yeah, I haven't played in forever. XD
I doubt I'll be able to play again for a longtime.
