Anyway, just what overall theme are you talking about? What's that have to do with the voice actors' work? Moreover, how exactly do your store (What's it called, location, etc.) and customers play into the grand scheme of the US dub? Your "majority" could just as easily be the same number of people in the US who played Fire Emblem: Thracia 776...which means not a whole lot, and probably less.

Hopefully your store carries imports to satiate your customers' needs, though.

Yuri Lowenthal. He did the voice of Protagonist/Pharos/Ryouji. As I recall...Yuri was never a Power Ranger. That slick beast would be Johnny Yong Bosch, the current voice of the Protagonist.

I do appreciate Sega giving us an "authentic" experience with Yakuza 2, to say the least; but as it stands, I think those clamoring for Japanese dubbing in a U.S release are very few in number for companies to take into consideration (Read that carefully). They're possibly a niche more deep than people who buy Atlus-published games.

I'm sure your numbers will grow to the point where companies will consider--maybe even include--Japanese dubbing in U.S releases...but right now you aren't in your prime, so you'll have to accept English dubbing.

Well, welcome to the forums, I'm relatively new as well. You should post an introduction to yourself in the new members part of the forums.

Anyway, if you notice, Chie's not all that energetic in the Japanese version when she's just talking to people, so what I'm thinking is she will show her high level's of energy. And as I've said a few times before, it's the same voice actress as Yukari in P3, so we can expect a lot of pep from her.

Chie isn't butch, if that's what you're afraid of. She just isn't a Yukari clone, like so many people seem to want her to be.

I never said I'm basing my opinion on the Japanese counter-parts, did I? I am just comparing the voices to the character's looks and their characteristics, the VA who voices Chie doesn't sound like she's the sporty and energetic girl. And Yukiko sounds neither elegant nor introverted to me.

Oho, I'm SO sorry for liking JYB's voice. :P Not everyone plays and watched EVERYTHING with him, I liked him ALOT in Devil May Cry 4, besides that, if someone has a talent for voice acting I truly enjoy hearing his/her voice more, I won't whine about hearing him too often. Seriously, do you whine about good actors appearing in too many movies too? I'd really enjoy hearing more voice over jobs done by awesome female VA's like Nicole Fantl and Catherine Taber.

I think people need to realize that the top VA talent in the US works in US productions instead of translations and so top VA talent doesn't find itself in Atlus video games. Tara Strong (Timmy Turner, the orignal Ben 10, Raven, Bubbles, Rikku, etc,etc) isn't showing up, Grey Delise (the new Daphne, Frankie, Mandy, Azula) isn't showing up, Dee Bradley Baker (Klaus, Clone Trooper, every animal imaginable) isn't showing up. Though i have to say Atlus is my favorite brand/company because they go the extra mile for their fans. Examples being the art book, the social link pack, and localizing P4 at a monster speed. I mean its only been 1 year since P3 was out here; they work fast.

Yep its true, but the problem with me is that I live here in the Philippines and none of those gaming stores Atlus have mentioned are available here. Data Blitz told me that they will only ship an ordinary Persona 4 with a soundtrack CD and they are'nt sure if they would also ship a limited art book. So yeah, thats my story. Sad but what can I do? :)

If I'm not mistaken, Eternal Poison is already out, so is Luminous Arc 2. Only Persona 4 is on its way as of now. Yeah, Atlus also will release Legacy of Ys and My world My way... But the two of them are still due on 2009. So as of now, only the Persona 4 website is really, active. So its most likely that its not about server crash. My opinion. :)

Have you checked the adobe flash in your computer? Sometimes, they need to be updated every now and then. I once tried to watch a video clip on youtube and it saids "video no longer available" but when I updated my flash, I was able to watch it. This is purely an experience though. I'll try to figure out the matter.

I'm pretty sure they put the vids up in the order the character profiles went up. So IIRC then Naota being last only makes sense given what we saw.
