I got Riviera for the PSP yesterday. I played up through going to the Elder's House and seeing scene 14, then saved at Fia and Lina's home. I missed getting the item for the CG Collection bonus, so I started a new file and grabbed that, then saved the game on the next area change. When I restarted the game to look at the CG Collection, I had scene 16, but not 14. I hadn't even seen scene 16 at that point! Well, I got back to my main file, got scene 15, saw 16 again for the "first time," and got scene 17. The last point I saved was at the entrance to 2-7.

Is this normal? I hope I don't have to wipe my system data and start over...

Well, for the one I am missing I have one that makes up for it in some other weird location. I don't know if it will keep working like that. I have scene 56 now. I kid you not.

Yes, there is a bad glitch in RiviPSP leading to CGs not yet viewed to be unlocked. My sister ended up unlocking a few of the near-ending CGs only half way through the game.

Huh... Guess I'll just keep on going, then.

Thanks

I absoluted hated it, especially since I actually got all the CGs in the GBA version, and the bug nearly killed my spirit to play this game (hey, I'm a perfectionist, to a certain extent). After I keep playing, more CGs showed up, so I guess I'll still continue with my quest for CG completion...

And did you know that if you go out of your way just to buff Ecthel's (Ein) Strength, he'll eventually surpass Serene? XD

does anyone know where i can find the riviera gba instruction manual
Troubleshooting:
#1: Check in the box with the game.

I suppose I could scan my manual and post it, but that's pointless and a waste of time. The game is pretty straightforward. Move, Look, kill things. You don't really need instructions beyond that. Unless you can't figure out those riddles... Like, what if the game asks, "Where's the instruction manual?" Then you're screwed.
