How are any of the persona video games related? I heard that a person in persona 3 appears in persona 4. But is there any parts of other persona stories that appear in the other games?

There are a few connections. The strongest ones are between Persona 1 and the Persona 2 games. Most of the Persona 1 characters, including Ellen/Eri, Nate/Kei, Mary/Maki, Mark/Masao, Brad/Hidehiko, and others, appear in some form in both Persona 2 games. In addition, Philemon is the driving force behind the plot of Persona 1, IS, and EP and grants the protagonists their Personas.
In Persona 3, the only direct connections to previous games are Igor and the Velvet Room. There are smaller nods to series continuity--the Kirijo family is briefly mentioned to be a branch of the Nanjou family, and Trish's "Who's Who" TV program features descriptions but no names of previous series protagonists.

Regarding that P3 connection,
Trish herself is technically a connection, if that reporter happens to be a money-grubbing fairy. :P
As for P4,
Reportedly they go to Gekkoukan at one point in the game.

Also,
the Phoenix Corps/Super Sentai TV show (it's like Power Rangers mixed with Gatchaman) that sometimes plays in P3 is the same as the one the main characters of both Persona 2s used to play as children.

One thing that might be worth investigating is government contracting to weaponize Personae. Persona: Trinity Soul brought that concept up and, unless I'm mistaken, there's a corporation of some variety involved in all of the games (except maybe P4... I just started that one) and all governments outsource their R&D in the modern age.
If this is true, it's no real surprise. After all, General Gotou attempted a coup d'etat with an army of demons in SMT and General Munekata initiated the Super Soldier Project in Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army, both demonstrating military interest in the paranormal.

Many people always forget the "hidden" refence to Nyarlathotep in the first Persona. He's what Revelations calls "Massacre", which is of course a translation error. In the original Japanese he was referred to as Nyarlathotep, that I guess would explain why Kandori is also in Eternal Punishment.

Must be someone else. Lisa doesn't have a sister afaik, unless they are actually referring to Meepo and Asacchi as the "sister". Could also be Yuka Ayase.

That could be Alana... They almost never mention her, though.
