Avatars are enabled, but weren't carried over with the database. You'll have to edit your profile to put it in yourself.

Very nice. I'm glad I can actually post now; I registered a while back but it was during the "maitenance" of the board, so I wasn't activated until now. Looking good, although the forum width should be 1024px, as other users have already stated. =)

I guess the image banner just needs to be cut down by a little over 100 pixels.

Uh how do you get Quick Reply to work? It says you have to click the Quick Reply button.. but I dont see one.

Also if you can edit the file that lists the banner url in the coding (Like PHPBB's OverallHeader file),
you could just add this: width="1024"
To the banner code strip.

Click on the "Reply" button at the bottom right of anyone's post to enable the Quick Reply.

Couple things I noticed that I would love to see changed.

First, polls don't let you change the options anymore, and show them in a different screen from the post, which is a bit confusing when making a new one.

Second, posts now say edited even if they were edited before anyone else posted, previous board would only give notice if someone else posted after you.

The default thread display option is set to "From the ... Last Month." You can temporarily change that to "Beginning," but it goes back to "Last Month" the next time you reopen the forum. I think the default setting will add to the number of duplicate topics in the Game Suggestion forum.

Hmm, good point. I don't want to turn this option off, because it'll cut down on the useless "QFT" posts and quote trains, but I don't want the word association board to go away either. We'll have to think about this one. As for the poll issues you brought up somewhere, I didn't see a setting that lets you revise poll options after posting, but I did manage to increase the character limit on poll options.

I'm trying to fix this now, but it's proving hard to find the relevant setting. EDIT: Ugh, it turns out it has to be set on a forum-by-forum basis, there's no universal setting. I can't set it exactly the way the old forums were. However, there is an option to adjust the amount of time that elapses before it posts a message saying the post was edited, and I upped that from 2 to 5 minutes. Hopefully that'll give people enough of a cushion to fix their boo-boos.

(Although I should note that the current editor also seems to have a simple spellcheck function, and will underline misspelled words in red, so that should help during the initial composition.)

The Quote button now supports nested quotes, for people who want it. Honestly, I visit more than one forum that doesn't support it where people get along fine, but people want it here, so it's in. But I'd like to stress that we implemented it for the ease of conversational flow, not for the ease of annoying and pointless quote trains. Cut that stuff out, please.

Anyway, I'm glad they don't do the thing with post count chaning your title, as that seems to make too many people spam-post to get their title up. Granted, there is still the idea of PostCount++, but it really doesn't mean anything now. I appreciate that, actually.
