If we already pre-ordered a game before this announcement, will we still get the pre-order bonuses or will it only apply to pre-orders taken from this announcement on?

If you pre-ordered from a participating retailer, you should automatically be signed up to get the pre-order bonus.

So, I can order now and get the game, an artbook and the OST or order later and get only the game for the same price? Sounds like a good deal.

Or it would be, if I didn't live in Latin America. Neither of those retailers accept shipping to this desolated wasteland... sucks to be me I guess.

Still, nice offer :)

I agree with you, i really want to pre-order P4 and EP, but neither of those retailers send it to my country, its really unfair ¬¬

Do something Atlus, please!!!!!!!

Are those retailers [GameStop, EB Games, and GameCrazy] going to receive the PERSONA 4 artbooks in advance of the game shipping? I pre-ordered P4 in-store at a local GameCrazy [the closest game store around here; the next closest is about 10 miles further and it's a GameStop]. I was the first/only reserve at the time and there have been times when they never received bonus/pre-order items when they're not packed with the game. Will it be somehow attached to the game or put separately? I don't think I'd be too happy if they never gave me the artbook [kept it or ... gave it to someone else]

Oh wow, so I can pre-order all 3 from my local gamecrazy and get pre-order bonus goodies? Wasnt even going to bother with pre-orders as I thought it was only going to be for amazon or game stop. Must drop by game crazy during lunch tomrow.

Wait so you even get those if you pre-order in person? 'Cause most things do pre-order spoils only online. If in person also, I love you guys!

I'm still the only one who pre-ordered Persona 4 at my Gamestop. XD

Just called my Gamestop and they say they're not told how many of something they'll get if they get something, especially when it comes to free stuff.
So, good thing I plan on getting there as soon as the store opens. Yay for having online classes!:D

Amazon doesn't export games outside U.S, such a pity...
However, GameStop does! So I'm fine. :)
BUT, the dollar is very high, damn crisis!!!!
I hope it lowers till December!

Can I get a visual data book even if I pre-ordered at Data Blitz? I know its not one of the above mentioned stores were you can avail a bonus data book but I live in the Philippines and the only store here that sells games is Data Blitz? Can someone help me in this matter? I really need the bonus art book badly... :very_sad:

Hate to break it to you, but I think your best chance with the artbook will be ebay sometime after the game comes out. Sorry, sir.

You do know that GameStop charges almost $60 for shipping alone, don’t you? It’s beyond rip-off. Wouldn’t it be better, and cheaper, to buy from eBay or Video Games Plus?

Thank you sora4126, I guess the best thing I can get this holidays is a normal package of Persona 4 without the artbook. Dammit Atlus! Can't they see there are also many Atlus Faithfuls here in Asia? But I just hope that Atlus US will change their mind sometimes this November. Its not bad to hope right? And at $39.99? Its really a steal at its price.

And hey! Have you tried Spore? I heard its really fun and addict. Too bad though I can't play it coz my RAM isn't up to the standards, but hey you should try it.

I ended up having to buy from gamestop as well ^^ (well, preorder :P did it about a month ago ^^), and yeah :/ shippings a B**** to pay, almost pay the same for shipping as for the game -.- but im a persona-holic so i'll have to do it.

Ended up buying P3 (special edition) + P3 FES on ebay for around 100$ - mainly because i wanted the game, and FES :P which isent released anywhere near me.

As for the shipping, LadyRena, on my reciept it says around 40$ for the game, and 25$ for the shipping, so im guessing you either pay for some royal super express shipping deluxe, or they changed the sihpping prices after i ordered :P

Main concern for me though is the artbook, its really one of the major incentives for me to import it at release :P so it'll be a major dissapointment to me if i find a "Sorry, we either ran out or decided to do an amazon.com on you and keep the preorder goodies for the americans" on me (and so close to christmas! how could they even ruin peoples christmas like that!).

Oh well, back to Persona 3 (o.O so long ^^ with P4 in my game list i'll have enough playtime till the end of time!).

One thing I love about preordering games from a physical store is that I can pay in installments before the game is released. Makes the $39.99 + tax cost far less painful. :D

I had this thing preordered since August, so I think I'm safe. I swear, if I get screwed on the preorder bonuses there will be blood!

You should be able to. I've done it at two other GS' and they've let me pay however much I wanted to at a time until the release date. You can ask them, either way.

It's not just P4, the same threat stands for Eternal Poison and Luminous Arc 2. Sad thing is, I wouldn't be nearly this crazy if the bonus was just a CD. I love artbooks that much.

To magicHat, I see. I myself too loves artbooks. But as of now I only reserved for Persona 4. I'm thinking of reserving an Eternal Poison as well but is it as fun and addictive as Persona 4 is? I mean based on webisodes and Japanese reviews. Hehehe...

It's a different genre. I can't say since I haven't played it, but if you like strategy/tactical RPG's you'd probably like Eternal Poison.

Artbook question: Hardcover like P3's art book, or softcover? Last time I got an artbook in the mail from Gamestop, it was shipped in an envelope and therefore beat to hell. If it's softcover, and Amazon is getting enough artbooks (they haven't been so good with pre-order bonuses in the past,) I'll order from them instead.

I'm undoubtedly asking a question that has already been answered, but here goes: Since I pre-ordered P4 on Amazon long before Atlus being to spoil, does that mean I'd automatically be set up to get the perks, or am I just getting the game?

I hope that in the case they do run out, they can send one to you again once the reprint is finished.

They haven't changed the prices and the delivery time is 3-5 business days, which means they’re most likely using USPS Express Mail International. Fedex and UPS are the fastest ones, 1-4 business days.

Even though shipping from the US is more expensive to South America, Africa and some European and Asian countries, $60 is way too expensive. There’s no reason for them to charge $60 to ship one game.

Oh, and it's LadyRayna BTW.

Sorry for taking so long to reply that, LadyRayna...
I'm aware of the expensive shipping charge of GameStop, but is ebay really the best choice? Ebay won't guarantee me those bonus stuff.
Besides, if I would buy a original game here in Brazil, the price would be almost the same. You see, the game + shipping costs 100 dollars in gamestop (232 reais), and a original game here is about 190 reais.
GameStop seems the only way...

LadyRayna
11-30-2008, 11:25 AM
^If you want the Social Link Expansion Pack I’m afraid eBay is the only place you’ll be able to buy it from, but if you’re satisfied with the game and the art book only videogamesplus.ca (http://www.videogamesplus.ca/) is the place to go. Also, you probably won’t pay only $100, since you’re buying it from a store you’ll most likely have to pay 60% of import duties. I take it you’ve never imported anything before, if so you may want to take a look at this site (http://arthurcollection.tripod.com/reviews.html), it gives invaluable information on how to import.

Although eBay is of the best places to buy from (you can find a lot of rare/cheap things), you have to be very careful from whom you buy. I highly recommend eStarland, NCS and Play-Asia.

I don’t know how I totally missed this but eStarland is also offering the art book.

I like bonus artbooks, but I'd prefer they do it like they did with Persona 3 and earlier games where the book was the same size as the game and fit into a slipcase. I'm kinda OCD about my games and like to store everything together, but my artbooks for Persona 4, Luminous Arc 2, and Eternal Poison have to be put with my standard-sized guides.

And that would've put an end to people (like me) bitching about not getting our art books :p

But I like to keep stuff together too. I did get a LA2 art book, and eventually an EP one (I bought another copy [as a gift] at a different retailer), but I have no idea where to put them. I don't want to put them on the book shelf because it just looks weird. So I currently have them on the ground next to my mattress.

Pursuing My True Self

We are living our lives
Abound with so much information

Come on, let go of the remote; don’t you know you’re letting all the junk flood in?
I try to stop the flow, double-clicking on the go but it’s no use; hey, I’m being consumed
Loading, loading, loading, quickly reaching maximum capacity
Warning, warning, warning, gonna short-circuit my identity (ahhhhh)

Get up on your feet, tear the walls
Catch a glimpse of the hollow world
Snooping ’round will get you nowhere
You’re locked up in your mind

We’re all trapped in a maze of relationships
Life goes on with or without you
I swim in the sea of the unconscious
I search for your heart, pursuing my true self

Signs of Love

Signs of love overshadowed by dreams
Baby, don’t worry coz you ain’t alone
Only time running days without nights
Tears pass through

He said/ I’m the one who’s got to leave I said/
nobody’s really got to leave coz/ I don’t hear enough
explanation/ all I need is admiration/ big
frustration bro he goes/ life is short we gave a
shot/ but didn’t work honey coz we had/ a whole
lot going on and on/ and on…

Signs of love overshadowed by dreams
Baby, don’t worry coz you ain’t alone
Only time running days without nights
Tears pass through

Every time look at the picture in the frame
Gaze in fascination so hard
You still think that is nothing but love
Rain still falls

Your Affection

Withered flowers forget
What they wept for day after day
Withered flowers blossom
In the stream of tears
They still think of the cause

Turning misery into meaningfulness
Changing day after day
Turning misery into meaningfulness
Changing day after day

Your affection Your affection Taking pride from fear
Past will tell you when to make yourself a hero
Your affection Your affection Your affection
Past will tell you when to make yourself a hero

Reach Out to the Truth

Now I face out I hold out
I reach out to the truth of my life
Seeking to seize on the whole moment, yeah

Yeah/ Naked truth lies only if you realize/ Appearing in nobody’s
eyes till they sterilize/ Stop the guerilla warfare to keep it fair/ Bro
change your rage to a smarter greater cause/ You know the stake is
high stardom is near/ Those who sympathized you die killers pass by/
Do not waste your time in hating flirting guys/ Use your might to AIs
do justice to them all/

Now I face out I hold out
I reach out to the truth of my life
Seeking to seize on the whole moment to now break away
Oh God let me out Can you let me out?
Can you set me free from this dark inner world?
Save me now Last beat in the soul

Backside of the TV

Lost destiny Far outcry They hear you no more
Numb feeling Whole dizziness Deep scars No pain
No sanity Body aching Control your own fate
Invisible Real enemy Ruin your mind Deep down

Darkness Endless Despair Fear no more
Coldness Blackened No sound Feel no pain
Captured Helpless Ultimate Dreadful fate
Powerless Lifeless No breath Falling down

Down down to the base/ the sound you’re about to hear is deep
down hip hop/ what you gone do when they start to come up/
well they’ve already come up to surround you up/ to dis you at a
world cup but I guess it depends/ on how you gone behave in
that moment, Huh/ a moment of truth tell me what’s really
happening/ their rhyme is nothing but you’ve got everything/
Bro, you’ve got everything but you donno anything…

人の夫

あんたに 出逢った あの坂道 歩けば
ツーっと 涙が ああ こぼれちゃう

夜の 柳に あの女が
ちらり ちらちらとね

やっぱり あんたは はあ ひとの夫

Heartbreak, Heartbreak

Tell me why you did it Every dream falling apart
Tell me why you did it After the promise
Still aching still aching Oh baby I need your love
Looking no different Glaring street light

Heartbeat Heartbeat It keeps on pounding
Heartbreak Heartbreak You tell me goodbye
Heartbeat Heartbeat It keeps on pounding
Heartbreak Heartbreak You tell me goodbye

Heartbeat Heartbeat It keeps on pounding
Heartbreak Heartbreak You tell me goodbye
Heartbeat Heartbeat It keeps on pounding
Heartbreak Heartbreak You tell me goodbye

Heaven

Can’t get my mind out of those memories
Now Time to tell them don’t take my dream
Still music keeps on turning me from the words that hurt my soul
Removing doubts from my mind

Those long days passing by from that door Like late summer they
slowly fade away
Finding ways through the favorite tune Play all day with my eyes
closed
Those long days passing by from that door Like late summer they
slowly fade away
Finding ways through the favorite tune Filling me with those sounds

Never More
