So just how bad is this game?

I read a little about it and honestly, it looks half-way not completely terrible. I might pick this up for $5 or $10 dollars later on down the road.

I rented it from GameFly. I'd probably buy it if it were $10. Who knows if it'll ever go down that low though (this is Atlus after all).

I'm a huge fan of spectral force 2. I'm quite disappointed to find out that they had moved away from the "Risk" style gameplay. I loved playing a kingdom, collecting generals and taking over the world. It was unimaginably addictive. Why in the world did they decide to make it a turn based strategy game? I bet it was some old fart "executive decision" who thought it would be "the next big thing". Hello.. wake up and smell the flowers, other people have already been there and done that. If I could write in japanese I'd be posting on their forum. =.="
That aside, I'd still play spectral force 3 cuz i'm a fan... bah..

It is a bit different, but that's kinda why I like it, It's no Tactics Ogre, but an interesting little SRPG none the less, I think anyways.

If it is anything like the 360 game we were talking about here, then probably not, that I know of anyways. Defeating countries and getting certain generals might be all though....

The DS Spectral Force is pretty awesome actually. I'm having trouble getting around due to the heavy text, but when I manage to get into a battle, it's pretty awesome. Super action packed battles.

I'm pleasantly suprised. I wish they would have let you use more than 6 characters per battle, to actually make the collect-a-thon a little more useful, but otherwise it's not bad.

I keep catching myself trying to figure out where the rounded up Atlus staff voices are. So far, my guess is with the Goblin hordes.

I cant even proceed the battles i have done all the missions and have done a lot of the find work and i am still a hired mercenary and i cant seem to beat it...it will not move on..Can some one maybe help me?
