Honestly, I sadly won't be. I love the look of it, but I own too many SRPGs already that I don't play. It's a curse in that I usually love SRPG character designs and plot, but I can't play the darn things for squat.

Sorry Atlus. :-( Maybe if I get a holiday bonus or something I'll pick it up to go on my shelf and look pretty.

Despite the number of SRPGs on the PS2, I have Eternal Poison, Persona 4, and Luminous Arc 2 on pre-order. I'm also highly thinking about Dokapon Kingdom. As James stated, it's just money. What else are you going to do with it?

I tend to buy a good number of games at Christmas time anyway both for myself and family/friends so this is just icing on the cake for me.

The Digital Devil Saga series will definitely eat away at your time as well as Shadow Hearts 2 (if you try going for all the side quest). Have fun and good luck!

I finally broke down and preordered both Eternal Poison and Persona 4. Well, no doubt I was going to get Persona 4 but I wasn't really sure about Eternal Poison until I learned more about it. I like the ability to capture maijin (sp?) for spells and everything looks much better than Atlus's previous SRPG Stella Deus. Now I can't wait until November.

I know I will, but like some of you have said, once Persona 4 comes out it will be top priority along with Ar Tonelico 2. Let's see... add in Star Ocean for the PSP and Eternal Sonata (I believe that's coming out before Christmas for the PS3) and I'm going to be flat broke.

I'm not big on SRPGs (the only ones I've beaten are FFTactics, Vandal Hearts 1 and 2 and Stella Deus... unless the Arc the Lads are considered SRPGs then I've beaten all those as well) but the look of this game is what's catching my eye.

There are definite similarities between the stories (because they all take place within the same realm), but as you get closer to the final part of the game, it gets very interesting.

I agree. I love strategy RPGs, and this looks good in premise, but the YouTube videos show 8 good full seconds of white-screened loading time to play a 2-second animation. That is sad. I understand that I can disable the animations, but that's a pretty disappointing view.

If somebody from Atlus can promise us load times faster than what we have seen, I am game to purchase this title.

I think I am going to pass on this one, I am just not feeling it. I will be picking up Valkyria Chronicles instead. Maybe it is just me but this game doesn't really stand out to me. I read on a message board that the japanese version had long load times and was mediocre; maybe they are wrong I don't know but I think the only chance of me getting this game is if any my friends really recommended it to me but I don't think any of them are getting it either.
