Atlus and Joystiq are teaming up to put on a contest. Huzzah! We're asking entrants to come up with their own Persona and posting them in the comments of the main contest thread on Joystiq.com.

Three winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries, and each winner will receive a rare Persona 4 t-shirt and a Persona 3 artbook signed by famed Persona series character designer Shigenori Soejima!

But that's not all! If you join the Atlus Faithful, you'll automatically be in the running to also win the prize package, because we're going to randomly reward three people from the Faithful at the contest's conclusion. Two ways to win, one of which requiring (almost) no work on your part. Awesome, yes, we know.

Persona 3? Wouldn't it make more sense to offer a Persona 4 artbook?

On the one hand, you have sense.

On the other, you have what's available.

Ok, I'm confused on 2 things.

1. Does this t-shirt have a size? Because hell hath no fury like a man with a small t-shirt.

2. Aram seems to allude that the contest is to create a own Persona, while Joystiq is saying to just pick someone/thing to be your Persona. What's up with that? In theory, you could create a persona to be your own, but if I have no imagination, I don't have to, right?

We will do our very best to accommodate special size requirements, but if no preference is offered, the default size will be Large.

Your points regarding the text are valid. The text has been revised to better reflect the very limited requirements of the contest. Essentially, the question can be thought of as, "who (or what) is your Persona?"

There will of course be some means of notification for winners. Thanks in advance for participating.

The winners will be posted on the forums, and then you are required to post a picture of you wearing the P4 shirt as your avatar for every forum you visit. :)

Honestly I have no idea what A.R.A.M. plans to do. That's just part of the craziness you get when you let a robot run PR.

I'm already on the mailing list. So does that mean I can't win the lazy way or do I have to register again? Ripoff artists. I knew it was a mistake not to wait till there were prizes available. :x

My Persona would be Serenity a pale skinned Moon Goddess in a white dress adorned with Crescent Moon jewelry. Her spells would come forth from prayer, her physical attacks will be delivered by a large staff with a crescent moon on top.

Her final skills would be:
Mediarahan
Moon Strike: an attack that would do more damage based on how full the moon is. Does no damage during a new moon.
Bufudyne
Lunar Blessing:SimultaneouslyGrants Tarukaja and Rakukaja for three turns.
Null Charm
Samerecarm
Null Pierce

She would be weak against darkness and strong vs Garu, Agi, Bufu and Zio skills.

Decent strength, great magic ability, ok Vitality, amazing speed, great luck.

My Moon Goddess, inspired by Sailor Moon of course, which was inspired by the many Greek and Roman myths also present throughout Persona.

lame question I am sure but.. is there other ways to get this cool shirt?
Seems a contest that picks random people out of a lineup of people naming stuff like (my pet pocket lint) seems a bit lude to get a shirt.

For me Id love to buy one! course that would kill the rare status right?
Any chance in any of these items comin for purchase? or we just have to pray we are one of thousands in this contest :P

kal prays...

I would gladly fight my way through the Junkyard for one of these shirts! I wouldn't mind a signed artbook of Soejima either! My favorite artist is Kaneko though. But Soejima is damn good as well.

I am dissapointed though after I made sweet love to all of Atlus and Aram they didn't offer me a free stuff. I most of have been terrible.

hmm my Persona would be like that weeny Persona in Persona 3: Fes. Its skills would be

Super Pierce: Like Pierce in Nocturne.
Extend : To increase attack
Sack Drop: An attack with the balls and sack.
Spray: Evasion/ Accuracy down
Rub: Charm attack on all enemys.

I am just kidding.

Hey, how about a quick update?

The winners have been selected and notified, but a couple of them haven't responded back to us yet. Unfortunately, they have 30 days to get back to us before we toss 'em out and we choose new ones, so... We don't have a full set of winners that we can announce just yet.

In summary, if you did win, you'd already know it. Unless you're one of those people who we're waiting for, in which case: Hey! Get off your butts and respond so we can tell people you won already! You're holding things up for everybody!

Anyhow, we (DrkDiamond.net) are giving readers a chance to win Persona 4 and the Social Link Expansion Pack through a Teddie coloring contest. There's one catch though...you can only use crayons.

Check out and enter the contest here:
