Surprised no one bothered to make this thread yet... the thread is self explanitory, post you game collections!

I recently went back to Southern IL and had the chance to move around a few things here and there I figure then was the best time for me to capture as much of my collection as possible until I could finally have it all in one place. I'm not going to try to post everything at once, so let's just start off with the ever changing current gen stuff!

Ace Combat 6 is the Flight Edge set (the stick box is in my closet), and I also have a Legendary Edition Halo 3 still sealed in my closet... Probably not the best $60 I've ever spent, but better than $120... next up, SC4 LE!

Yeah I know, the pic sucks, can't hardly see the PS2 games, guess that's what I get for trying to fit them all in a single shot. I dunno WTF happened to my original Persona 3 box set, needless to say I am not pleased, hopefully it will turn up here somewhere (in one piece)...

I have yet to use the Wii Stick. I bought it because someone traded it in to GS and it was only like 12.99 or 9.99. Something cheap, SO I figured I should get it so if I ever do buy a VC Fighter I can play it the right way.

I use Kijiji and Craigslist. It's hit or miss, but I've gotten some good stuff. Like a used copy of Children of Mana for 10$. That was a nice deal. And Star Ocean: Till The End of Time, Grandia II, and Final Fantasy VII all for 30$.

I've only bought a couple of games for full price, but normally I never pay more than 15$ for games. I've got mad discount shopping skillz.

They were ok but I have no problem with DVD cases. They are far less likely to get cracked, I was moving the box back into my closet when I heard a cracking noise and sighed... Finding doubled sized PS game cases are a pain in the ass now too. I'd have shown Grand Turismo and Fear Effect is a had any spare cases to put the inserts in, but they are being used by more important games now (I know I used the GT case for Persona).

DVD cases are ass. They don't protect the covers, and they sometimes even destroy the manual.

I always preferred jewel cases. Not only do they protect what's inside better, but they also look better, and are easier to keep organized.

You don't need to find a whole new case, you just need to find replacement parts. I've got a big stack of empty CD cases (my wife doesn't keep cases for her music CDs, so I usually snatch some when she's tossing them); every time I buy a PSX game, I spend a few minutes removing any cracked parts and replacing it with pieces from the empty cases.

The only part that is nigh impossible to find is the black piece in the middle if it doesn't have the little nubs to hold a disc; every music CD case I've encountered always has those things, which will bend up a manual.

I like DVD cases better than jewel cases. They don't break/crack nearly as easily. Manuals are also larger and easier to remove, the artwork is larger, and ones built for holding multiple discs usually actually hold the discs. Jewel cases holding multiple discs wear out so easily and the discs easily fall out.

Kinda hard when everything is spread out in 6 or 7 large containers. I'm not the sedentary type and I mostly play what I recently bought... rest goes in boxes :(

Yeah, I really only bother with RPGs because those seem to last me the longest. Those and fighting games. RPGs are kinda my thing. :P There are definitely great non-rpg games out there though, for sure. :)

yeesh. Maybe there will be some other cool pre-order bonus when Mana Khemia for PSP goes up for reserve on Rosenqueen when the official RD is announced. but yea 100 bucks is way steep. I have other neat figurines, but not a whole lot. :S Like 3 others haha. I had a ton of the SMT mini figurines that are sold for like 500 yen a piece in some japanese stores. One of those deals where you dont know what you're gonna get. I brought like 10 home but gave away all but one. I got a Jack Frost+Jack O lantern. you might be able to see it up near the Masterchief helmet on my bookshelf.

I finish most of my games. I've beaten 57 games I've never beaten before this year and 102 I'd never beaten before last year (if anyone's interested in which, I have lists). That's obviously not counting replays, which I do fairly often. That probably sounds like a lot to people on here, but I don't play many RPGs or excessively long games and generally complete things in a dedicated sitting or two. I like not gaming for a few days and then gaming a lot one day, and I don't play many online.

Edit: Forgot to mention a couple of things. A lot of my old games are missing due to a move (NES, SNES, Genesis, Game Gear, PS1, Dreamcast, et cetera) a few years ago, which considerably drops the number. Also, a small number of these games I got free and wanted to point that out, because it's embarrassing to have people potentially thinking I paid for crap like "NFL Street 2," hahaha. Also, a lot of titles on the list don't have colons because I started this list a while ago, and, for whatever reasons, didn't put any colons into it back then. I don't remember why lol.

I've had a lot of problems with games being stolen or borrowed and never gotten back (including a friend dying with my copy of Conker's for the 64), so a catalog had been something I needed for a while.

Yeah, I know. I wanted to get the first game autographed as it was where it all began. I also wanted 6 autographed because god it looks great. Of the first 6 games, it's my favorite of them with 4 and 5 being the least. I hear he's pleaning to do another art tour sometime in either 09 or 10 in either New York, LA, or Houston. My hopes are for houston but with the other two cities as options, I'm not hoping THAT much.

^ That's because the Saturn and Dreamcast are really easy to pi... play "back-ups" on. I'd buy more, but they're generally expensive. I've played a large number of Saturn/DC/Genesis shmups, but I only own a few. Once I get a new job I'll definitely stock up on my collection, though. I am admittedly ashamed of how small the number is that I own :(

The reason I never bought a copy of Under Defeat is because there were a number of special editions, and I didn't know which to get. I really need to get one, I know it.

Most games i own for PS2 their are certian games i am missing but they are on my get list XD i am envy especialy for some of those PSone games...

But replay to someone msg how some of us have money to spend on many games is...


1) We dont buy new computer every year ;P more like 5-6 years...

2) Some of us have very well paid part time jobs... most money i get is from my summer jobs ... which i spend 2 months out of 3 for 12 to 16 hours a day 6 days a week which pays for my COLLEGE/Video Game Addictions. I easily have 1,000 to 2,000$ left for my own spending.

3) Figure best ways to buy it... or save like 250$ for Gamestops buy two get one free... (i love those days)

4) dont spend ur money on useless stuff ;P

xD that about it cause i dont remmber rest... mostly if i need to save up 60$ i just skip like 2-4 lunches... and get a video game and get nice good meals at home (food expansive in my college X_x)

My collection has almost completely stopped growing. I can't post a picture, since I don't have the right software for the camera on this computer. About 50 PS2 titles, with about 10-15 titles each for the PSP, DS, GBC/GBA and Gamcube. Me and my brother share about 30 titles for the N64. Also I have a Gamegear with a case like Divals.

I really need to make the jump to an HD console.

NTSC. Up here in Canada Zellers (analogous to K-Mart or Target in the States) had some sort of special promotion with MS where they sold the Crystal Xbox with Fable and Crimson Skies. My friend picked it up, he didn't like it, and I got the whole lot for $50 in 2006 :D

I don't have any fancy special editions of anything. Just that Devil Summoner 2 box/plush. I'm never gonna open it again because I kinda hate the game now. The majority of my games are in drawers or boxes in the garage. Or in the case of my Dreamcast games, in a big spindle of burned CDs.

My sig has a link to the collection now - 270 PS2 games, 135 PSX, 86 GBA, and many more...

My first system was the Colecovision with Atari adaptor, but I sold that off. :(

Then I had a NES, Genesis w/ CD, TG-16, and GB, but I sold the Genesis stuff, I've since replaced some of it.

Next came Dreamcast, and I've pretty much been filling in the gaps on other systems since then. I haven't sold anything off other than the Colecovison and Genesis stuff.

Yeah, basically in Japan you got SO4, an arcade bundle, and that faceplate. I just have a US arcade bundle with the faceplate.. I think I shelled out like $30 shipped for it. Worth it to make my 360 at least look appealing since I dont really play it since I got my PS3.

Yep, I am missing it. I've seen it at my Gamestop kinda cheap (The only Gamecrazy and the only PlayNTrade within 2 hours either direction of me both closed-- our malls are almost useless unless you want tramp clothes). I haven't gotten around to playing Atelier 1 yet XD I'm also getting Diddy Kong Racing DS, FF:TA2, Baroque, and Rogue Galaxy. I've really wanted to play Rogue Galaxy so I'm looking forward to that. =D
