Sweet :D! Though, I could also tell the difference between Nintendo's acting and the voice acting that comes from ATLUS, NAMCO BANDAI and SQUARE ENIX. The gap is just that huge. As these companies (other than Nintendo's own in-house) sign on some of the best actors that've done previous animes.

Well, from my deduction. I've concluded that from hearing VAs that these companies hire to do their videogames seem to have actual previous experiences in doing animes (past and present) as well. As compared to Nintendo, where like 4Kids Entertainment. The acting seems to be not as good.

This for me, came from hearing half of the cast in FE: Radiant Dawn. Characters such as; Boyd, Ike, Tormod & Muarim (just to name a few). Didn't really have good acting.

EGM said it had pretty bad voice acting. :)

Hey, I didn't say it had the most actors. I said we rounded up a bunch of guys from the office.

There are real actors there, too, of course, just to make us "non-pros" look bad.

How dare they...

BTW, when Onion says we "rounded up a bunch of guys" he means for the bit parts, and it honestly wasn't a bunch. It was more of a "handful of guys".

The game's got so many voiced characters that we couldn't really ask the good actors to do all of the characters. There just aren't too many English voice actors who can voice a ton of distinct parts.

Anyway, as far as the game itself being good, I like it.

^^; Bah, don't lump this game with O3's voice acting. O3 had pretty bad acting with Chaos Wars, speaking of the english version. But this game, I'm confident that Atlus will deliver a great performance. I'm not even sure that O3 had an experienced voice director. Like they just throw in un-heard of voice actors.

This is a blurb from the 1/4 page 1up review. Another unexpected "strength" is SF3's unique approach to voice-talent casting; the developers obviously employed some sort of wide-open casting call for the janitorial staff. Kudos to Idea Factory for giving these needy souls a chance to display their acting skills on the national stage -- and further kudos to Vizio for giving my television a "mute" button!

Weird, it doesn't seem like the reviewer realized that Atlus was localizing this. Anyway, I guess using Atlus staff didn't end up working out all that well.

That guy wouldn't know good voice acting if it voice acted him in the face.

because it was the same lousy voice acting from all the other games. Same inflectiosn same tones same everything.

Hell I thought I was playing Operation Darkness here instead of SF3.
