Indeed they do.

They're still selling the Japanese version of the game here. I know most of us can't read/understand Japanese, but some die hard fans would go out of his/her way to just get the Jap copy. 0__0

Like a friend of mine. 0__0

And me as well~ ^_^; did that for KH2 when it came out in Jap, played proud mode in English, and got tired of the Mix Plus thingie for KH2. But then again, I do understand some Japanese, but I could only read Hiraganas. ^_^;

Unfortunately it doesn't look like Ar Tonelico II was mentioned at the NISA event today. There were a bunch of crappy looking DS games (the 100th iteration of the first Disgaea, I cant wait  ) though, including a new game about a teenage witch with an umbrella.

Ar Tonelico II would be nice, but if NISA won't publish it, I would be very disappointed.

I don't care who publishes it. I just want the game.

But... I can kinda see your point. The only other publisher that would be interested would be Namco, and they'd probably cut out all the innuendo (which was half the fun).

Ar Tonelico is the only NIS game that I bothered completing. (Grim Grimoire doesn't really count IMO since it's completely different from their other games.) Not only did I complete it, but I actualy bothered getting more than one ending, so yes I think the sequel is well worthy of being ported.

I read somewhere that it is even better than the first one. Though the only thing I can judge right now are the visuals and characters designs, and they are really nice. I think I prefer the Reyvateyl designs from AT2.

GrimGrimoire's a good game, the better of the two Vanillaware releases last year IMO.

Indeed it is. In fact Grim Grimoire is one of my favorite console games. I was just comparing Ar Tonelico with the other standard JRPGs that NISA usualy releases. (Which all look and play pretty much the same.)

So, supposedly there is an article in the newest edition of playstation official magazine about Ar Tonelico 2. I am guessing an official announcement by NISA should be out by the end of the month.

I hope this ends up being true.

^ I just went to Amazon for Disgaea 3. Couldn't bear with the idea of paying some retarded amount of money + shipping and getting the digital media cd.

On the bright side, I got 10 bucks off it at amazon!

I think Disgaea 3 looks pretty good so far, I hope it's as good as the first one.

The trailer seems rather... I hope the game isn't too much about yuri. However, considering that this is a direct sequel and a game localized by one of my favorites, NISA.. I will buy it within a few weeks of the release, as long as the game is under $50.

It's basically the official NISA store, so yeah, they're pretty reliable. Only had one problem with them, I preordered Puchi Puchi Virus from them and then one day out of nowhere I got a cancellation email. I emailed them a few times and got no response. So I just ordered again. A month later I get a call from a Rosenqueen employee who was about as confused as I was. A couple of days later I got $20+ in my Paypal account, I didn't realize it but when my order was cancelled it didn't automatically refund my money. I've also heard people had problems with the Rhapsody and Disgaea bundles, I guess they didn't get as many extras as they expected, so they just sent the games to people without the bonuses with no warning.

I read the page. Theres only 2 items that are listed as RQ exclusive. I wanted to know if you order from somewhere else do you get everything but those 2 items. I have checked a few other sites and they dont say what the package comes with for preorder yet. Paying 5 dollars or more for slow shipping and then also paying for tax just to get a cd that I wont listen to and a 12 page art book isnt something I want to do.

30$ on amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com/AR-Tonelico-2-MetaFalica-Premium-Playstation/dp/B001GMSHSI/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1222536200&sr=8-8)

The e-mail that I received from NISA said that every copy would come with an artbook and an ost (most likely packed in with the game in a large box) just like the original release of Ar Tonelico.

Generally when the RQ store does an exclusive like this no one else gets it. I have my doubts about there even being a pre-order bonus at any other store.

Edit: When is the release date for this?

In the e-mail they said mid-December.

Amazon.com pricing is no longer $29.99. Its now $39.99.

Of course I didn't order from Amazon.com since I wanted the bonus orders from Rosen Queen. (I should be well under the 2000 Limit to get the Bonus Artbook since I ordered when it just got listed.)

I preordered about two hours after they listed it. Hopefully it's not so incredibly popular that I miss out on the bonus soundtrack thing.

Still though, $48 (including shipping) for the game, a soundtrack, and an artbook is a very good deal.
