Does anyone know if...
1. They were translated into English?
2. If so, where may I buy them?
Thanks.

According to this, there are:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persona_3_FES#Persona_3_FES
They're Persona 3 Owari no Kakera, Persona 3 Shadow Cry and PERSONA3 Novel Anthology. ^^
Basically, I'd like to know if they're worth getting.

Hopefully Tokyopop will pick up the Persona 3 manga and the novels, though it probably will never happen, there's still a slim chance.
They did after all, brought Shin Megami Tensei Kahn (based on Shin Megami Tensei: If..) and several novels and manga of .hack over. I was very surprised that they picked up .hack//xxxx and another birth.

Is Shin Megami Tensai Kahn any good? There are two issues on Amazon that pop up whenever I search for Shin Megami or Atlus stuff, but I'm never sure if I should get'em or not.

I'd check them out at a local bookstore before buying them.

That's the problem. There aren't too many places around here that would have something like that in stock.

I think Barnes and Noble or Borders might have it, if not the TokyoPop site might have some samples.

Well, if you'd like it for free, I heard they have it over at MangaTraders.
Just the manga though, not the novel. And you need an account to download there. It's free.

Hmm...I won't expect much from a Japanese-translated-into-English novel. They had novels like that for Gravitation and some of the .hack series, and it wasn't that interesting.
Well, they had something like that for Vampire Hunter D, but after reading four of the books, I found a certain pattern in it and it bored me completely. Of course, it was a waste of my money, but heck. Amano's drawings are in it.
*drool*
But yea, like I said, don't expect too much. Once a game, it'll always be a game.

I glanced at the Kahn manga.
It looked really awful.
Don't waste the time or money.

(this opinion also goes out to unknown and DamnedToBeFree)
Kahn is awful.
In addition to that, it's ugly as sin, too.
The idea of it being a sequel to if... and a gaiden to SMT do nothing to make up for that.
