Getting the PC version

But really, it looks interesting(especially the zombies part), but like I said, I'll wait for someone else to get it.

They are a mix. Some of them stand and stare at the wall while others where running really quickly at the team. If they get on top of you and start biting you get to smack them off with your gun.

I've been quietly watching this one for some time now.. I just hope that it dosn't fall down the same pitfall as Shadowrun did.

But for a single player zombie game (multiplayer=unknown), Dead Island (http://www.deadislandgame.com)has perked my interests as well.

Anyone know when the PC demo is open to anyone? I thought it was today but can't download it off steam yet so I figure it will be out later today but who knows.

Edit: The demo is up. It is 3.2gb for me but I don't know if it would be less if you have other steam games installed.

I really want to pick this game up when it hits but my PC cannot run it. I'd get the 360 version but based on the port of the Orange Box(Specifically the netcode) I'm not so sure that's a good idea.

Having played the demo on 360 I'm now sold. I can tell it would control a heck of a lot better on PC but I'm very pleased with it's performance on 360. Now I just need to find the time to play it. ;)

Played demo on friends 360 and it seemed alright. Downloading demo, with steam, on my computer right now. I usually prefer FPS's on the PC.

My only gripe with this game is...

"RELOADING!"

GAH, it never stops!
Well, that and friendly fire. When I'm being swarmed by zombies, I tend to want to shoot. But people are always in the way. My friends and I have resorted to 2/4 of us crouching at all times.

I hate the Tank and the Witch. I really really do but oh well nothing can really be done about it right? I love the online play accept with the people that shoot you it happens to me a lot.

^ It's hard not to shoot teammates sometimes. When i'm surrounded by zombies, all I want to do is wildly open fire, taking down as many of them as I can.

Now if you're referring to people player killing you, thats not so wise considering team work is a big part of the game.

Here is how it happens all the time! We are in the safe house at the start of the level usually two other guys take over the AI and shoot me and the other person down open the door and then leave! Then the zombies come and I don't want to talk about what happens after that..

They end up screwing themselves over in the end though. You can't really make it through a level with only two people.
