I decided to start this thread because the old one, which was about Project Exile, was locked. The title has since been titled Black Sigil - Blade of the Exiled, and Amazon claims that the release date will be June 17th. I've preordered it, but has anyone else taken an interest in the title and are planning on buying it?

Same game originally for the GBA developed by a bunch of American Japanophiles. It steals a ton of ingame art from various SNES Square titles. At least, it sure looks like it does, but they claim it's all original.

^ Even if it is original, which I have a hard time believing, it still shows a huge lack of creativity on the part of the developers.

Fixed.
Anyway, I was thinking of picking it up. I was interested in the GBA game, 20 or so years ago. If the price is right, I'll get it.

^Then going by your logic, the United States is an extension of Mexico.

Definitely not. When Americans start buying a #### ton of Mexican products, watching Mexican TV and whatnot, then sure, but that doesn't happen.

^ Sanctinepwnd.
Also, if they want to do JRPG's, they should get artists that can pull it off, the art, while not terrible, looks as any animewanna be style art.

Ah, but our stuff is only made in China, but they're still American owned products. Also, we don't watch Chinese TV.

If Americans could understand Chinese, they'd watch their TV.
Hell, the whole world is going to be Chinese in a few years.

We don't speak it though, so that point is irrelevant.
If anything I'd say that Canada is more of an extension of the European Union, in fact, we should see about joining it one of these days. Lot's more in common with the culture and attitude of Europe, than the US, even with our version of the Republicans in office.

No, Sayck's right.
I've found Canadians are more ignorant than what is considered a stereotype labelling Americans, actually. People here have no power, so they resort only to 'public demonstrations' and namecalling. Then they try and distance themselves from the US by booing their national anthem. How mature.
And the only places that are remotely European here are Montreal and Quebec City. The rest of Canada feels just like the US. Especially Ontario.
EDIT Oh, wait. Charlottetown feels European as well.

Screeching? Never heard of it? Heh, I'll tell you later.
SO, actually ON topic, though it's interesting to hear about a game actually done in Canada (*coughDarkSectordoneinhometowncough*), it's too bad it doesn't look very impressive so far. I think I'll wait until some of you try it out.
#### you punks, I'm from Germany.
Obwohl ich in Amerika wohne.
Anyway, I know next to nothing about this game, it looks average, I'll have to do more research. In the meantime, spill some more information about the game and less bull#### maybe? I honestly don't give a #### if a game is made in hell, so long as it's a good game.

And no. Haha. Like I said, I'm not a fish person. ;)
Obwohl ich in Amerika wohne.
Who else read something like "Although I'm an American whore"?

Shouldn't that be "im" or is that just my German being ####ty again?
edit: I may be thinking of "in dem USA" :?:

Mimi - „in dem" is the same as „im", and your German isn't bad. I believe that the dative case is not used for location when referring to one's country of living though. And where have you seen „in dem USA"? „in den" is used for the dative plural, never „in dem". :?
Xeo - ich wusste nicht, dass Sie aus Deutschland kommt.
Yeah, most don't know I'm from Germany, but it's been a long time back. I guess I'm too far Americanized. Glad I broke up the pointless argument going on with my loose German...hah. (I used to know French as well, but can't remember a lick of it. Mostly because I never cared about the language.)
But seriously, what kind of game is this Black Sigil?

Chrono Trigger: Reloaded.
Really? Interesting.
I ####ing love Chrono Trigger...
Though it was mostly the characters and the story that make me say this. The gameplay was good, but I've played better.

I know that "im" is the contraction for "in dem." As for the rest, yeah, told you it wasn't that great :P Now that I think about it, I do that that my German prof says "in den USA," and that "dem" is just a screwup that I've put in a few essays.

I second this notion. I just looked at the screenshots and now I'm interested in it only because it reminds me of CT.

^^Yeah, but it's an RPG. It's hard to mess up an RPG. Sure it might not be as memorable, but as long as I don't need to grind for 3 hours between every area, I'll go for it.

This is the art for the cover that Amazon has on its site. Amazon also has a March 8th release date for the game, but Graffiti's site does not show this (or the cover art, for that matter), so it might not be correct.
