Well, I thought it would be interesting to hear what other people have named their characters. Personaly I went in favor of a joke name.(like I named my character MC McDohl in Suikoden, or named my castle Viktor's Castle in Suikoden 2) The main character in my game is none other than Marty McFly! At first I wanted to name him Arnold Schwarzenegger, but I could barely fit in "Schwarze" so I had to think of another one. :( I would've loved to see the others call me "Schwarzenegger-san". :lol:

Minato Arisato is the P3's prontagonist, while Souji Seta is P4's... The names are from the manga version of the game... For your information, Minato and Souji are their first names, while Arisato and Seta are their last names...

I like thinking of names, but I stumble if I have to choose a name before getting a feel for the character. That's why my first round of P3 was with Hero McLeader.

Every time after the first, I've used Jack Captain (read: Captain Jack). I give SMT protagonists names starting with J, and I like the idea of Mitsuru addressing him by a rank.

I'm no good at thinking of Japanese names, so the incongruity doesn't bother me.

Although I do see it that the manga has his name listed as this, the manga is neither the original source material nor the official word from the developers. Unless someone can link me to an article demonstrating that this is a decree of God (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WordOfGod), I'll be forced to assume that this is what the manga author named his MC, and just evolved into a fan nickname.
