JUNIOR IA/UI WEB GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The Junior Designer works with a variety of tools and processes to design graphical UI and site-specific content. The ideal candidate works well in a fast paced environment, accepts constructive criticism and effectively communicates creative ideas to a team. This designer should be a relentless self-learner who keeps abreast of ongoing developments and changes in the use of design tools and techniques.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited too:

  • Design, build, and animate banners for game sales, events, news.
  • Upkeep and maintain game sites and game portal (news, events, adding informational pages, etc.)
  • Understanding Cascading Style Sheets and the ability to skin pages using CSS.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Required Programs and Applications: Photoshop, Flash, FTP software, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
  • Required Languages: HTML, CSS
  • Must present an online portfolio for consideration

    Game Tester/ Quality Assurance

    Atlus U.S.A., Inc. is looking for Game Testers to work on an upcoming console title. Testers will be responsible for playing through the game and reporting bugs accurately and clearly. Since the majority of the bugs will be text-related, individuals with a strong command of the English language are preferred. The ideal candidate will also be detail-oriented and a team player with good communication skills.

    Requirements

  • LOCAL APPLICANTS ONLY (We are located in the Irvine, CA. Applicants outside of the Orange County area will not be considered.)
  • Previous software testing experience preferred, console gaming experience required.
  • 18 years or older only.
  • Strong reading, writing, and spelling skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Passion for games, positive attitude, attention to detail.
  • Hours are 9:00-5:30 M-F plus paid overtime.
  • This is a temporary position lasting the duration of the project (approximately 4-8 weeks).

    BILINGUAL LOCALIZATION SPECIALIST

    Requirements

    Assistant Editor

    Atlus USA, Inc. is looking for an assistant editor to work on an upcoming video game title. This individual will be responsible for rewording and proofreading Japanese-to-English translations of game dialogue, manuals, character descriptions, etc. Working closely with other team members will be required. This is a temporary position lasting the duration of the project. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
